i completely agree with you, AK's need to look aged, they should look like theyve been through a few wars. I first used an AK on a military tour i took in israel, their guns legit looked like they had all actually been used in wars. we shot a ton of guns too, if you want to, check the company out, lionops

Hey, can you make a tutorial for disassembling your DBoys AK? I have the Short version and I can't seem to even get the gearbox out.

@AnotherGaisle Check out this vid from delta1. Its relatively long, but if you skip through it, you'll get the idea. On mine I had a little black block infront of the gearbox which I had to unscrew and take out, but other than that the gun was the same as in his vid.

Sand the bolt cover with no more than 220grit sandpaper and leave it about 80% silver. It'll make look even better.

If you do however want alot of scratch marks, I prefer to sand it then take silver paint on a pice of paper and lightly create marks along the body

I think if you scruff up the metal a bit more it'll look better, oh and buy some Soviet "blue tape" it makes AK's look even better.

@Jacgren I've been looking into getting some blue tape. I'm making a spetsnaz-looking loadout. Nothing specific but just something that resembles a spetsnaz soldier.
