The new animation makes it much much easier to gague the range of your FoK, whereas the old animation shot knives out at random angles. Much more utility to the new animation, AND it doesn't toss a dagger at every target in range like the old one, making life easier when AOEing very large packs of mobs (Onyxia, Naxx Trash, Razorscale, etc.)

Ive used both skills from 3.0.9 and 3.1, although the 3.1 in this vid may look a bit better, in reality the daggers look like they are very low quality, and both of the skills dont look as glitchy in reality as this video depicts. I would trade the new FoK for the 3.0.9 ones any day.

It looks much better now, but i still don't like FoK and hate using it.. rogues should do single target dps not throw little knives a trash that mean nothing only to be out dpsed by the aoe and hybrid classes on boss encounters

becaus this wil boost party's AoE dmg and since its theres alot off AoE dmg going on, this is a sweet skill, aspecialy whit the upcoming glyph, increased dmg by 20%.

Agreed, Fan of Knives was a good move for Rogues, it won't make us op in PvP but it gives us a chance in raids.

Still it's not enough, but it's a step in the right direction.
