LOL, 2 days ago, I was on the largest retro gaming market in europe and they sold some disk cards too. bought nazo no murasame with manual (Both in new state) for 6 dollars! It was awesome!
yeah, I also heard that someone found a prototype Zelda disk, but it hasn't been dumped afaik. And the dungeon music isn't different from the final game. There are actually two different dungeon songs, and the one played in the video is played only on level 9 of the released game.
well i think they were going to make one for the NES, But they never got to the idea. on any NES, if you look at the bottom, you can see the EXT. port for the Planned Disk System.
Why didn't this ever came out in the US? I bought the American NES before anyone else I knew had one; later I had a friend who had the imported Famicom system and it had so much cool stuff that they never put out over here.

Is it me or does it seem that the theme in Nazo no Murasamejou is a bit faster in the prototype?

Whoa... Zelda has to be a prototype! The choice between a boomerang and sword at the beginning, different dungeon music... wow!

The first game in this video is about Zelda no Densetsu (The Legend of Zelda), the other game is about Nazo no Murasamejo.
