  • Jimmy's guitar in this clip is a Takamine. However, it looks similar to a Hofner guitar that either Bill or Bob Cowsill played in a video clip of the 1960's song "The Rain, The Park, and Other Things" by the Cowsills. Check it out and you'll see.

  • Great video and great upload and song from one of the most prolific singers /composers of our time! Thanks for sharing.

  • I just saw Jimmy at the the cowboy gathering in Kennewick WA. He is the most personable and nicest man I have ever met. He sang this and some of his new work. It is great. Thanks Jimmy for a great concert. Dianne

  • one of the most beautifil songs exer written and sang! bravo jimmy!!!!!!!!

  • Jimmy needs to break down and post a professionally done version of him and the Stats doing this timeless treasure! The video and audio quality does not do justice to his gift. It is still making my website list for greatest tunes.

  • Jimmy Fortune has actually recorded this version of Elizabeth. I couldn't begin to tell you what album it's on, but if you look up his MySpace page, I think it's still on there.

  • ezstmatt:::::::::::::There's a great video on youtube of Jimmy doing this song, entitled "Elisabeth is my forth daughter",,,, check it out
