Wow, what a completely unaffected guy. That's a rarity in Hollywood. I think Hugh's sincerity threw Howard off a bit. He's accustom to cutting through tons of BS to get to the truth, whereas Jackman seems like an open book, more or less. American celebs seem so shallow and materialistic compared to the foreign actors who work over here

Best stern interview ever. Relaxed and honest ! Hugh is the man , and father , and the only movie star that deserves millions and to live well. Mabey it's cuz he's not from america and he don't have a dickhead mentality. I just see him treating pepole with respect.

Howard Stern is successful because he has perfected the art of conversation. He doesn't interview. He doesn't talk down to the guest. He just makes it feel like two people having a conversaton. It makes his guest feel more relaxed. No other radio or television host (with the exception of Letterman) can get as good of an inerview.

That and he has naked lesbians on his show a lot.

I haven't listened to Stern for years. I thought he had gotten repetitive with his silly abrasive style. I left far before he left the regular air waves. He refined his approach since the older days, and it's easy to see why he has been so successful. He has an uncanny and sharp ability to get people talking. He is not an idiot and exploiting guy who got lucky. Hugh Jackman is really a wonderful person. It comes out in the interview, and Howard I think makes him even more touchable to his fans.
