The K.O.B.U.S. album 'SwaarMetaal' won the SAMA award in the category Best Afrikaans Rock album.

Here's hoping that this is the beginning of the acknowledgment of SA metal bands by the local industry and the inclusion of a metal or at the very least a 'hard rock' category!
