  • Here's the issue with this video. I can eat all natural, all whole foods and STILL crave chocolate after!! After meals I can't go 10 mins without wanting to eat something else. It might just be because I'm on my computer a lot and am studying. Studying = stress= craving junk food. I've tried snacking on almonds and healthy snacks, but damn I still crave that chocolate lol

  • @fantard100 That happens to me all the time. What I do is I have a little everyday. I love M&Ms and I usually eat like a really small handful of m&ms everyday to satisfy my craving for chocolate so that way when I really want chocolate and I haven't eaten it in weeks I don't binge and eat an entire bag. So eating a little each day will help you out.

  • I can tell all this is bull....TRUE (what did u think huh :p) last year I was lifting weights and eventually I modified my "diet" and don`t get me wrong... I started eating like a pig... in quantity but not cuality... having eggs at breakfast no salt just some olive oil.... and a tortilla or two... some fruit before the meal... then at meal some chicken breast with rice or beans or veggies like carrots and broccoli... the good stuff... then after hittin the gym a protein shake or some tuna

  • @Achristic tuna directly from the can... nothing more... then at night some cereal or some fruit or natural yougurth... you wont believe me.... i used to crave sweet stuff everyday and it was something normal... and I used to give into that... after like 2 weeks of the "diet" without even noticing it... the cravings were GONE... and the tuna started having more flavor by itself... this is unbeliavable but the NATURAL yougurth became like candy to me... i even started craving it and i swear it ..

  • @Chassy0109 sweetheart- just don´t eat that "trash" - ask your parents to buy you some fruits! So when having the appetite to eat a "junk-bar" eat an apple instead. It´s hard at the beginning but you will succeed - believe in you! Andrea has lot of good tips - stick to her channel. Good Luck!

  • @Chassy0109 omg same haha, i put notes around the house telling me not to eat the bad foods, but eventually my mum just took the notes off, try to keep telling yourself not to eat the food whenever you pick it up.

  • What I got from the title and video is that Amazing body means healthy, not necessarily skinny. If one is at his or her right body fat percentage and mass there is nothing to worry about weight-wise. I know quite a few thin people who are because of metabolism, not because of healthy diets. Then there are ones who eat a well balanced meals and are still over weight. How do we find the balance? Get your thyroid checked, Control your satiety (Signal to stop eating) Msg turns off your satiety.

  • "Mis-communicating?" Your body isn't confused. It naturally wants fats and foods high in calories!!!!!! The fact that they're so much more accessible is the only harmful thing, which makes it more difficult for you to be more healthy in your eating habits. Humans are only supposed to consume approx. 20% of their diet in meat and meat-products, the rest in vegetables and legumes. Trying to keep the food inaccessible is helpful, for sure.

  • Also: a practical tip: hydrate often to stave off cravings. If your belly is full (no matter with what), then you will feel full. Drink a glass or two of water before eating and you'll decrease your calorie intake. But be safe. Don't lose weight for the sake of cultural acceptance. Lose weight for the sake of health.

  • @118candyman Not exactly sure how you got that from what I wrote. Social acceptability is contingent on which culture you live in. What I was saying is that prizing thinness is a relatively recent phenomenon in our culture. Being tan and thin was a sign of poverty. White skin and plumpness was a sign of royalty. Our eagerness to be scrawny is unnatural. Craving sweets and fats is evidence of that. Hoarding fat in case of famine is where it comes from. Investigating human history goes a long way

  • What the hell are you talking about? Your body craving food that is high in fat content/calories has nothing to do with vitamin balancing or "body confusion" or "addictions." Our bodies are still accustomed to craving high-calorie content foods in order to stock up on energy (who knows when you'll be out of food). Beating that is difficult because it's what has kept our species alive as long as it has. Skinniness is a product of culture. What you're trying to do is unnatural.

  • The craving thing is really true, i ate really clean as an experiment for two weeks and I had no interest in crap foods at the end. Your body will crave things like french fries when its missing nutrients because it craves high energy dense foods. French fries have high fat and high carbohydrates. When your body is missing nutrients it cant function at a maximum level, so it needs higher energy dense foods to keep going. When it has the nutrition it requires it doesnt crave those foods anymore.

  • wow thanks i never thought it would be because of confustion. i found a good trick by the way: if you are craving any sweets get some vanilla extract and take in a few deep breaths of it then you dont crave it anymore. this rly works try it.

  • That's weird. When I was doing ATKINS (fish and chicken, very little red meat) i was also taking vitamins I'd buy at Whole Foods type stores. And I noticed that I wasn't craving Dr. Pepper, Pizza, and I didn't even want to snack. I wonder if it's because of what you're saying dealing with Vitamins. I was taking in good white meats, good vitamins and minerals, so I wasn't craving the bad stuff? I only do ATKINS for a month by the way for any the read this, any more seems unsafe. We need carbs :)

  • @haloapa a whole food is unprocessed and natural food. Say for example if you cook spinach it's no more whole food, it's cooked; so just the fresh spinach is a whole food!

Losing weight isnt really about 'restriction' i realize. You cant 'cut back' on deficit foods even further. you have to eat the real natural thing.

  • I had an addiction for diet coke for about 15 months but one day i decided to stop, mostly beacuse my peers were shocked by the amounts I consumed, like 1,5 liters at least (the big bottle) a day. I told my friends and family that I had stopped and as one day progressed I said Hey I've been diet-coke-free for 24 h and they said good job! I thought this is totally doable and now it's been a month and I drink 3 liters of water instead and i feel much better. You can totally kick your habits!!!

  • @Gypsygify OMG!! thats me @_@ i'm the diet coke addict too!! I've stopped a few times for say a week, and then i get the WORST caffiene withdrawl and am just to big a whimp to outlast it. I did one time tho, and let it creep back in. Diet Coke is another thing that DRIVES my appetite I realize. It may not have any calories, but it makes me want to eat everything in sight.

  • OMG! You are so right! Earlier today I went to Bob Evan's. I ordered Beef Stroganoff, sausage, bacon, and a salad because that's what I was craving all day. I only ate a couple of bit of each then I didn't want it anymore. Then I thought of, "Omg I want chicken noodle soup and some fruits!" But then I didn't get it. I was full of nasty grease and oil but my cravings wasn't satisfied. Thanks for the info, I thought I was crazy and prego lol

    until just a yr ago, i was addicted o oreo mc flurry as well as fish fillet

    it was a mental torture

    but then i took some supplements----when i took mangnesium and chromium supplments, my cravings for oreo mc flurry greatly diminished and soon stopped

    as far as fish fillet, i took zinc,vitamin C and omega 3 fish oil pills and suddenly my craving for that greatly diminished and suddenly stopped altogether. all of these cravings r becuz of depleted vitamins and minerals in

    ur life will get out of this hell and vicious cycle. now a yr later, i am at peace and dont suffer from these crazy cravings and vicious eating sprees----i have lost a little over 100 lbs and have bursts of energy and dont get tired or fatigued---perhaps u may wana think of using supplements becuz it definitely has worked for me and many otherz i know who for yrz were obese and unhealthy---believe me, if these supplements were humanz, i would wash their feet daily!!

  • darling, that's how i lost weight 15 years ago and kept my weight at the same exact level since. that's the secret people, eat nature's foods in great variety. listen to how your body respond to what you're putting inside. amazing hunger at night ? pick on several different things (veggies, fruits, nuts) till you find what it is that your body is asking for. this is the difference between feeling full VERSUS replenished. nothing like feeling replenished (and hungerless) without a full stomach.

  • @missjanecocaine just the obvious ... throw away takaway menus, don't buy it initially, you could try pizza substitutes, like cheese and tomato on toast ... it's not ideal but it is better
