It is silly to credit any Kenyan for English fluency. Infact a majority should feel ashamed for losing job oportunities to Spanish and French speakers due to poor phonetics! Call a spade a spade, Kenya is an ex-British colony and a traditional English speaking country and whatever dog´s pride some guys are trying to wave or feel, at the end of the day it's your language and you have to speak it well.I pity the girl but good English for her is like good Spanish for a Mexican or Argentine!

What then do we say of the Japanese, Germans, French, Russian etc who are technologically advanced and yet speak no English? Are they illiterate?
