  • This is a "ready" video. =p

  • Great.. I am just wondering where the racist types of comments are.

  • Alice must be the oldest man alive?

  • Comment removed

  • Nice Clam at 2:15 mark Alice looks disgusted

  • Classic Marshall tone thats hot, punchy, and cuts right through the mix. Seems like Mesa's are easy to lose in the mix. Not hatin.

  • Hell yeah!!

  • Tommy Clufetos

  • This audience is neither deaf or dead!

  • Although I absolutely love my Peavey Valveking half stack, I think I've fallen in love with marshall

  • is that patrick johansan on drums?

  • @DB73093 , hey sorry was being nosey, just thought id let you know, its not patrick its tommy clufetoes, i think i spelt that right, hes now playing with ozzy!! he did a few shows with alice in 2003!! and then stepped in for abit, while eric singer went bk to kiss!! :)

  • The first few notes from the solo sound a lot like the solo in It's So Easy by G'n'R. Awesome!

  • i saw Jason playing with five finger death punch great guitar player

  • :50

  • haha 0:47 retaaard

  • @sgogiz1 Heh he he he he. That's you that is.

  • @sgogiz1 Lol.

  • I... Must...have...that...amp...

  • @BladeSkater64

Sadly, the cheapest new one (the JVM205) is $1400. =(

And it only has half the features and the wattage. But hey, whose gonna use 12 amps and 100 watts? 50 watts is good enough. =P

  • @themodernguitarist lol funny that I bought it the day after i posted that comment (i got the 410h half stack by the way)

  • @BladeSkater64

Lemme have it? =D How does it do for metal, by the way? I wanna try to buy a used 205 version one day.

  • @themodernguitarist I would say it is one of the best amps on the market for Metal/Hard Rock. As for the highlight Metal sounds of the amp, well I mostly play thrash metal and rock and roll so the best sounds i get out of it are like Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Anthrax, Testament, Ailce Cooper and Ozzy Osbourne. The amp is litteraly perfect for producing those types of tones. On the rock side of things the amp just has endless possibilities. Best I have owned so far

  • isn't the Drummer now in the Ozzy Osbourne Band?!

  • great versatile amp! I own one and it rocks the shit, terrifying my neighbours every fucking day. i love it! pure valve power

  • 0:47 .....WTF?

  • @TheWorboj

Only good person in the crowd. =P

  • It's party time...............haha

  • not so great mr cooper..but u r an absolute god so i forgive you

  • my JVM410H sounded pretty shrill and thin for a couple of weeks when it was brand new, they all sound like that new

but after a few hours breaking it in, it sounds awesome

it's a tube amp after all, you gotta break in those tubes

  • i think thts the new drummer for ozzy

  • yep, he also played for Rob Zombie, Slash, Ted Nugent and other artists ;) he's a pure machine

  • His guitar tone is thin. These new Marshall amps don't compare to the old ones.

  • you can't judge by the camera, room acoustics play a big part in the sound you hear, and that stage by no means has any sound absorbtion.

  • What? Professional recordings are done with close miking or direct outs. The room acoustics should have no bearing on the guitarist's sound. The amp and the sound engineer would, however. So, it could be the fault of the engineer.

I've played through this amp and it was ok but nothing compared to an older, simpler Marshall.

  • i hear you. Personally I like it older then the 1 stop Marshalls. You can easily talor the sound on it, it's just some don't know how to.

  • Professional recordings also use tactics like quad tracking and artificial reverb to replicate a good room sound.

Room acoustics play a BIG deal on what a live show sounds like.

  • The "live show", yes. But not the recording of the guitars in the show. The room should have negligible effect on anything that is as loud as a guitar amp and is recorded close miked.

  • That's my point.

The amp he's using sounds different in person, and on studio recordings, because of room sound, and extra stuff they do in the studio respectively.

  • Nah, they are thin...ive heard them in person.

  • i own it. MIne sounds great.

  • Did you have to tweak it a ton to get there? Ive played two different ones and seen 3 bands with them, and I wasn't impressed.

So I guess its a matter of spending time with the amp and tweaking something out of it?

  • yea man it's tedious. Im an audio engineer so i have an ear for things.

  • Mustaine uses it and his sound is pretty brutal man.

  • They maybe thinner than some amps but they cut through well in a mix, unlike a Dual Rec for example which is known for being stupidly bassy

  • I own one now...not thin at all. I guess there are just some people that consider enhanced midrange and less bass "thin"

  • Respectuflly disagree. These amps have started to turn a lot of heads lately. After the bad experience a lot of people had with previous marshalls, these have actually gotten a lot of compliments.

As far as Jason's tone, I have to agree it is a bit thin, but maybe that's how he meant it.

  • I'm not saying the amp sucks. Just that it doesn't compare to the older simpler Marshalls.

Regarding your last statement...name one guitar player who intends to get a "thin" tone out of a Marshall.

  • maybe or the newer sound...

but the old are legend ;)

  • wow you're all really wrong. Jason didn't play lead in this performance (That would be Keri Kelli). Jason Hook did leave for ffdp, and DAMON JOHNSON rejoined the band.

  • Jason(lead guitar)plays with

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and I'm fuckin glad !!!!!!

  • jason has allready joined back to the alice cooper band

  • then who is their guitar player now ?????

  • i cant believe he used to play in the hilarry duff band.

  • you are wrong, he is right now as we speak touring with ffdp, he is gonna be at the donnington download festival with them on the 13th and is staying with the band

  • its Tommy on drums.

  • how can you guys not know what the heck eric singer looks like?! love the sonor's that tommy's rocking here! i'd totally play native gear whenever on tour and i had to rent a kit! he's awesome!

  • IS it Ryan Roxie playing there?

  • no, the 2 guitar players are jason hook and kerri kelli.

  • i saw him live in germany 2 month ago

  • woah whos on drums?

  • as far as I know, it's still Eric Singer. I knew he had let the hair come back, but I'm with you; I'm not sure it is him as I've not seen him recently looking that haggard.

Alice's site says he's the one on tour and this is only what, a month and a half old so I would assume it's him. His playing is in top form.

  • The guy on drums here is Tommy Clufetos.Eric Singer was with Kiss then.

  • Tommy's main job is with Rob Zombie. He is an excellent drummer.

  • Cool. Alice has a new album called "Along Came A Spider" at the end of July.

  • Rocks!

  • Alice Cooper!

  • Keri's diamond is better lol
