i believe that the trip that i went on was so compelling and horrific to see the very places that our people were broken but to have brought a new hope to me so that I could take in the knowledge. Now as a freshman in highschool I take that knowledge with me everyday. Setting a new hope and pride that if our people could survive and live through the horrors of slavery then i could overcome anything.

We went back to the past to help the persent and for the future
