Nolan has refound his touch at Newcastle. He is now in a team that is playing well, albeit in a lower division and they will be back. It says it all that he didn't want to leave in the first place and Megson came crawling, can you blame him for not wanting to return? Bolton will miss him in his current form.

@oldfugnug You know nothing about football. The fact you rate Sam Allardyce as a manager proves my point. I laugh at the fact we didn't stay in the lower leagues as long as you hoped. It just so happened relegation was a blessing in desguise. We have got rid of a lot of dead wood in our team and brought out the potential in some of our young players (Enrique, Carrol, Simpson).
Brilliant goal here, I'm glad Nolan's finally back to his best. 10 goals in the premier league so far this season!

In reply to your comment......I have forgotten more about football then the likes of you will ever know. If Allardyce was no good as a manager then why was he considered for the England post! He also did a very good job at Blackpool, Notts County, Bolton and Blackburn. you've parted company with two proven managers in Allardyce and hughton. The real dead wood "Ashley" is still their as no-one wants to buy your crappy club!
