Hello Jamie leigh, I have a scarlet macaw who is about 11 months old now. every now and then he starts nipping a lot and sometimes it turns into a bite. Can you give me any advice?
this is very hard to do with a budgie as he doesnt "step" up but he just jumps up. i eventually resorted to holding his foot and doing it till he got it
hey would you suggest sun conures for a first pet bird ???? i have been workin on trainin my friends parakeet with your videos so i feel confident. we have made progess. so watta ya think???

For ease of training it's best done with a clicker.

You could do it about 3 times a day like meals. Before breakfast, before lunch, before dinner.
