this sounds fantastic all except for the terrible filter on the dr-202, it really doesn't sound smooth at all. you don't look shy to buy gear so I'd recommend a electrix filter factory to filter your stuff. I got mine for $160 on ebay. just a suggestion.
I'm all for gritty sounding stuff, I've got something like 6 lofi samplers for that purpose actually, but to me a filter has got to be smooth. not necessarily analog, I like some digital filters, I just really didn't care for the one on the dr-202 (used to own it years ago)
