Actually both parties have bankrupted this country and the US has not had a truly effective leader in years. Probably the last good leader America had was Eisenhower. The two party system has allowed both parties to be controlled by special interests. Republican or Democrat is just another way to say "Screw you". I actually lived in a Republican state only to see that the leaders there were indifferent to the invasion of illegal aliens and their abuse of social services.
