Canada still has the "Vice Regal" salute which contains the first bars if GSTQ. They also use GSTQ for Royal Salutes.

If you in Australia still want the Monarchy then you should sing "God Save The Queen" and not pay lip service....be true to what you want to be....if you want a republic then go for it...be Australian...and for God's sake decide and then remain true! Whatever you decide, btw, "God Save the Queen" will always be our National Anthem and we'll sing it because we mean it......

@whitesocklad Canada is a monarchy, but their anthem is O Canada, they don't even have a union jack on their flag. We here in Australia, whether we remain a monarchy has nothing to do with our national anthem or our national flag, the only thing that matters is our Constitution.
