well i just started metformin n i hope it works im not getting any younger, i already have a 4 yr old n i think its time for baby number 2.... just crossing my fingers

good luck, i just found out i ahve pcos and my doc prescribed me metformin, im not thinking of having a bub yet but knowing that there is difficulty in conception makes me sad, one day we will all get there..

@sweetpilipina watch out for metformin, I have pcos and was on metformin for 2 months and was pregnant. I had been trying for 13 years and nothing. Metformin was absolutely the answer. That was in 2005, now in 2010, I am pregnant with my fourth. Be sure that if you are not ready, TAKE PRECAUTIONS!

@XxYukiLoverxX i had been trying for 13 years and the doctor told me that pcos makes women infertile and for most, metformin is the key to pregnancy. I have since gave birth for the fourth time. I had become so fertile that the last two pregnancies were one shot miracles. Just the right moment and it only took once. I absolutely believe that it was metformin.

I think most people don't really appreciate how it is... they think it's just one day a month when you get your period and are disappointed, but even if you're lucky enough to have normal cycles and no fertility issues, it's alot more than that... and if you have problems like me it's competely consuming.
