@creaturebotman This song takes me back to childhood, nothing in particular just mom and dad , mainly mom just playing these records over and over...so as i grew older into my teenage years I knew these songs. now I am in my early 40's and I find myself re discovering them and I dont feel the urge to turn then off anymore and definitely not like i do with a lot of the artists of the last 15 years. great voice

I've seen Dionne in a small venue at a Pa college in the mid 60's. Only a pure talent could mesmerize a crowd with only her voice, a drummer, a stand up base and a piano. Perfect in every way.

To me the sound of the early sixties is all about Burt Bacharach and Hal David. They wrote the songs that defined the sound of that era. This is one of their absolute best songs and Dionne sang it better than anyone.
