  • Hi Vogel5290. Thanks for the video. I wish I'd known about this Sunday ritual when I was in Choluteca cause I would've loved to try some of their soup. Would you happen to know what the specific ingredients are? I couldn't identify everything.

  • @alohaoh I don't remember the specifics any more. I know there were a lot of veggies - some squash and I'm not sure what else. Then there was the mondongo and cow's feet and a bunch of spices. I wish I could tell you specifically!

  • Que rico una sopita de mondongo! <3

  • I definatley love your good nature in trying new foods! I admire all the hardwork that went into the food and to see them working so early in the morning makes you appreciate the food even more.

  • humm mondongo looks so delicious.....

  • ES UNA SOPA??? ESTA BUENA???

  • THIS IS FOR YOUTUBE: PLEASE HAVE ONE OF YOUR STAFF GO THROUGH THIS THREAD OF COMMENTS-THERE ARE A FEW VERY DISGUSTING, VULGAR AND JUST RIGHT OUT NOT NECESSARY COMMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN LEFT AS PART OF THE COMMENTS FOR A VIDEO THAT COULD VERY WELL BE USED WITH THE YOUTH TO TEACH CULTURE AND THEY WOULD STUMPLE UPON SUCH HORRIBLE LANGUAGE FROM SO-CALLED ADULTS! I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! (maggi8226; mauricio77043; GUAYACAN07; 29ungido 7)

  • It is a beautiful video in which not only the beauty of Honduran people is shown, but also their strength, tenacity and love for the less fortunate! May God bless you, Ms. Vogel for bringing forth the beauty of the world in such candid manner.

  • I can definitely see how you miss your country. Not only is it physically beautiful, but the people are wonderful. You can't find them in the USA like that!

  • i was crying when i saw this .. i miss my Country.,.. :( i wanna go back to Honduras .. But im having my sweet 15 there :D and right now im 14:D

  • congratulations nice video is amaizing that is my country i love honduras and i love the people keep up loading videos like that

  • I think this is definitely true. I've eaten food from all over the world that the locals love but I can't stomach and I sure its because they developed a taste for it. The latest example is blood choris (spelling??) in Argentina.

  • I like sopa de mondongo a lot. However, I believe that you need to be raised on eating that part of the cow, in order to like it. I think it's more mental than it is physical, in regards to liking the taste and texture. My

friends who are from Montana eat Rocky Mountain Oysters( fried bull testicles) and I can't bring myself to trying one.

  • I didn't particularly like the soup, but there are lots of people who have developed a taste for this soup and love it.

  • i miss eating mondongo.. orgullosa catracha..,.

  • Went to a new Dominican restaurant in my neighborhood to get the 5 dollar lunch special but since it was a grand opening they didn't have it so i ordered the soup instead. Turned out to be mondongo which was good.

  • omg! a lot of soup! nice video.....

  • wow good soup uumm rico

  • thank you for showing us the common food of my wonderful home country of honduras i was born overthere but left when i was 2 years old but my favortive food of honduras is the sopa de mondongo.. .I Luv it

  • is called Menudo only in the north part of Mexico, cause in the south still MONDONGO

  • UUMm I'm making mondongo soup today, but I don't have the cows feet, I know that is what gives it a better taste. I love my Honduras for its culture and people. Que rica sopa. thanks to the creator even though you didn't like the soup

  • I'm sure its an acquired taste and if I were brought up with the soup I'd love it. It was fascinating to watch it being made, not only the ingrediences but the love and care that went into it.

  • what does that song has to do with the soup? lol

  • @Murdahewrote no lol is just a song im from honduras im telling u that song is about a girl jijijijijijiji

  • YUKKKK, LOL

  • @guayacan07 no seas tan ofencibo

  • LMFAO xD !

  • white people need to keep there asses home !

  • LMFAO x-D

  • @drwunder Actually that is a foul thing to say. I applaud the anglo's who come and learn of other peoples ethnicities. By visiting other countries and partaking of its foods and educating themselves on their culture, I would assume it would lead to better understanding and a better world.

  • Nice video. It's intresting to see the various ingredients used to make the Honduras version. It's VERY common through out all of Latin America, except Mexico where it's called Menudo.

  • Hmm interesting video I might say. haha cool video. you should make more. try adding more effects?

  • Thanks for commenting! It truly is amazing how much work went into that soup - and to think they do it each and every weekend!

  • Thanks for the video...My husband and I follow your travels (( blog))and we had read the posting of ALL the prep work.....It has to be a Labor of Love
