Hey quick amplifier question. My Crunch Pzi 2250 is rated at the same power for 2ohm stereo as it is for 4ohm mono. I am running two DVC 4ohm 12's. Would it not make for less current draw and cleaner sound to run the amp 4 ohm mono and wire the subs for 8ohms each so the amp see's 4 ohms or do I lose power even though the spec sheet says it's the same total?
I have a pair of HF12D4's, not the HFi's but the series before. Question, I got the spec sheet and it says sealed .5 cubic feet. That seem very small considering the HFi12D4 needs over a foot. Can you tell me what optimum sealed enclosure size is for my model? I am running a Crunch Pzi 2250 two channel at 2 ohms on them. Thank you for your help as info on my model seems to be lost to time. :-)
hey stupid question but im thinking of buying one of your brutus bxi2008d amps. does it put out what it says and do it cleanly.i already have the alt upgrade that i need and my car is 14.4 running volts. thank you much.
Sorry for the delay in responding as we just returned from CES.
The Brutus amplifiers are rated true rms at 14.4volts according to CEA standards. Just be sure that you have an upgraded battery to go along with your upgraded alternator.

@yzf7steve You are correct. I would recommend series coils, parallel subs for a final 4-Ohm load at the amp.

@yzf7steve You can use the same specs from the new HFi's.
