@gamerdude1989 lol, its to bring the RPM's up while you have the clutch in, so when you drop the clutch it either breaks traction (to help slide) or just make the shift smoother.

hmm this is not drifting, its power sliding, go to a drifter and tell them your drifting in a 4x4 and they will laugh at you and tell you your dreaming.

Yes it will stall if you have autoclutch off and the physics are extremly realistic. Just the crashes and damage isn't great cars bounce of eachother a bit weird but not that it degrades the realistic feel of the game. As a driving simulator you can't go better...

And nice vid btw nice drifts but a 4 wheel drive drift is pretty easy though. Try drifting a rearwheel drive car thats much harder. <- does NOT mean I think you suck.

I've had GTRe and Race07 with the G25 for a while now but I can't seem to get the drift right, I just end up spinning out of control.

I've got Stability off and Traction Control off, do I need ABS off too?

Also, I'm using manual clutch and gearbox, 540 degrees with the ration at 18 (15:1).

Sure you can with appropriate rev-matching. However, I enjoy the whole process of heel & toe during each downshift too much to give it up.

Nice, I have the same steering wheel. The R8 is loads of fun but anyone else but me find it almost impossible to drift with the other RWD production cars? They just either understeer from not enough throttle or spin out from too much.

let me start by saying i dont drift on gtr..however i think with practice its possible on the caterham because ive held a few slides when ive almost lost it in a race. its way harder but also possible in the gumpert and konigsegg (non gt).. but actually connecting drifts could be a diff story lol.

Nice man, but you know its a modern car and it dont has 900 degree steering in real life, so you should use 650-720 degree.

You might want to recheck that - I think that most conventional modern cars have around 900-1000 degree steering.

What is your FFB setting in game and in profiler?

In the profiler it's 100%. I'm constantly changing the in game settings though, but its usually set to around 130% and full effects with the 900 degree steering.

Thanks man! Practice hard and you'll get there! Heel and toe is not that hard either - you just need to carefully practice it for a few hours and it should become something you do automatically.
