Hey people, read the description again and try to think logically. He is 14 now, and has been playing violin for a time already. When he picked up the guitar he already has the musical knowledge and the dexterity, he only had to learn the differences between the two instruments, and at such a young age this can be accomplished very quickly. So maybe he's an auto-didact at guitar, but he had all he needed from the violin already.

I love it my man! I love how its self taught! the individuality is absolutely mesmerizing! I am self taught also with nothing more than a vid or 2 on youtube and a shitload of practice and checking ultimate guitar when im wanting to learn something new. I started about... about a year and a half ago (14-18 months I cant remember). and i cant sweep pick worth a shit but im doing pretty well other than that :D KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! everyone learns in their own way and speed, no one can judge a guitarplayer by how long they've been playing. It's better If u have played 5-6 years, have heart and soul in the solos and parts you're playing, than played for 4-5 months and can shred faster then the speed of light. Thumbs up if u agree, a guitarplayer needs soul and passion just as much as he needs a guitar!
