Great video for a very beautiful song. I have watched this movie many times and its one of those movies you never get tired of. Love it, thanks for posting it.
maybe animals only act hostile because of what humans did to their ancestors!
humans are greedy and think everything in this world is thiers. but they're so very wrong! if we weren't so selfish, then the creatures of the earth wouldn't have to fight us for their own freedom!!!
I am personally ashamed of the fact that animals such as those pictured have to fight for what is rightfully theirs to begin with.
all respect to the uploader of this vid. much respect!!!!!
The tune has loads of traditions in it like Native American,Gaelic,Celtic,Saxon, Angle,Norman,Jute,Goth And.... most of all HOLLYWOOD! So enjoy the tune and the vid. By diverse bunch of fellow mammals!
I am Chippewa from Northern Michigan. My ancestors fought for the French. Maqua means bear. I love this song. My mother use to sing us a lullaby in Chippewa that was a Scottish melody. I sang it to my daughter. It was a war. In war there is brutality on both sides. It was this war that destroyed our culture. It was the first time we took sides with one European power against another. In this war it wasn't Columbus, but ourselves who caused our demise. Manitoumahwhigon
I love Native American culture and respect it. The pictures are of native Americans but the tune is 100% gaelic from Scotland as someone said. BTW native music is also very beautiful.
If the spanish and european would hadn´t discoverded america, those wonderfull lands and peoples they still would follow being wild, they arrived with our sicks and weapons destroying everithing, them lived in harmony with nature and caring. Would be awesome have that continent virgin and enjoy it all now.
This is not true, the native americans was not the ''peaceful and loves nature and everyone'' like the movies are trying to portrait them as, the native americans was killing eachother and wiped out other tribes in wars, and the reason they lived in the nature is not because they loved the nature, its because they never managed to develope technology or cities.. Im sorry to say this, and i dont mean it in a bad way, but its the truth. They was not as friendly as people think they are!
@Deifux explain to me how the native americans were 500 yrs ahead in technology than the europeans were, the fuck did they need cities for? to go buy a bow an arrow? no shit, everyone lived off the land simply because it was thier way of life
@Deifux It depends. Some tribes were more peaceful than others. You cannont simply say they were all violent hostile tribes, because that is not true.
the first time i heard this song was from a video called insane sporting injuries so i can't help but feel a bit sick when i hear this song however dispite that feeling i can't stop listnin to it such an awesome piece
The most beautiful piece of music ever composed!!! I'm gonna have the woman of my dreams walk down the aisle to me to this. Great video... but why tigers??? they have nothing to do with naitives!!!
@MrShirlz1 That sounds like a very nice wedding. It says in the name that this is "NOT A NATIVE VIDEO" please read the info and the name before posting comments like that. I put tigers in the video because they go with the music and they are one of my mothers favorite animals. Thank you.
@85712 im sure your fed up with people asking " Why are there tigers?" you have this video on a long time, its been among my favourites for a couple of years now. i did read the info! A friend of mine actualy looks after a tiger rescued from a colapsed theme park, so i enjoy the pictures and the music. Thankyou!
Where did we go wrong? Animals only kill to survive. Now, people are being killed for money or power, what ever comes first. I can't understand. Why can we not just enjoy life, and respect every living thing around us, and just enjoy it???
Beautiful video....thank you 85712....as for the idiots and the stupid comments that were made....oh well they have the right to show their ignorance......The music is an incredible piece written by Dougie Maclean....and its stirs the passion within...without regard to nationality, race color or religion.......
i think this song conjures up thoughts of native pride and strength! no matter where you are from. most people know it from "Mohicans" . as long as they get the meaning! passion for what you truely believe in and going for it!open your minds and hearts to natives from everywhere! learn and accept, spend time with the indiginous peoples where you are! you will learn sooo much and be glad you spent the time
Wow. Someone took too much acid in the 70s, didn't they?! It's like a video version of one of those awful t-shirts you see on European street markets - you know the ones, they sell 'em on the same stall as Bob Marley flags and incense sticks...
@FangnclawXD Well just so you know...(NOT A NATIVE VIDEO) Just in case you wouldn't watch it if it were...You know cause no one wants to see Native American culture...Just the fluffy cute little wolfies...
@DAZEOFTHESTONED I'm still trying to figure out if that's a joke or not :\ I mean ppl love Native American videos, they get lots of views, some haters too, but mostly it's positive. Native culture is one of the most interesting after all. And so are wolves one of the most interesting creatures. I'm not so naive as to think that they're all just fluffy and cute, those fangs were made for maiming. And Indians fought each other. But that's life, conflict, we all have.
This song is from "Last of the Mohicans". It was written by Dougie Mac Lean. It is called " The Gael". Nothing at all to do with native North American culture. Its Gaelic through and through. Its a fine piece that evokes the old fighting spirit of the highland clans, and it is a Nordic tune 100%. Albain Gu Brath

All Info on the song that is needed can be found in the Info box on the right side of the Video. I do not have that it is By a Scottish Guitar player or that it is Gaelic. I only have The Name and the Person and/or People that play the song.
hello, i very much like this video. the sound quality is wonderful and i absolutely love the pictures, particularly of the wolves. thankyou for posting this video.
great video!!! idk what tigers have to do either but i loved it!! i've been looking for this song ever since i saw the movie and i love this song! thank you so much! :)
I went to Canada for a holiday in summer this year 09 to look at history-went all over Ontario and Quebec-saw very little of red mans culture-its gone. This was not last of the Mohicans it looks like the last of the red man .
Oh well it would have been great in Canada about 1800-in the army-seen the last of the bison heards and the Indian tribes on the plains
Many people would disagree with you on that due to the fact that Tigers do not live in America in the wild. As many people pointed out to me almost a year ago.
If I remember correctly, they are playing this song when the younger sisters love is killed and he goes over the side of the cliff and that was the sadest part of the whole movie. This song always gives me goosebumps and I think of the scene.
