is there a beginner track there? can you rent a bike? and also, do you know if they have classes there because i dont think id just want to get on the track. thanks
WATER TRUCKS! I have flash backs when I was riding my crf 230f every time I see one (lol I Know, my first bike was a trail bike, have a 04' crf 250r now), I got showered by a water truck at rausch creek, it was like my second time at a real mx track. If anyone knows rausch, it was the step up after you come out of the woods; I didn't even see it coming.
@SoCalRyder7 I used to ride when i was younger, and i learn things quickly. When you do a sport as a kid, some of the talent and knowledge you had always stays with you.
4th time on a track yea okay you wouldnt be hitting those jumps i ride here all the time and have a friend that has been riding for a year pretty good rider still learning jumps and dosnt clear the step up you have def been riding for a while big guy
I used to ride when i was younger. Stopped riding when i was 14 because of a bad injury. I just got back into motocross this year. Bought the bike in the end of July, was practicing locally at a small sx style track, and went to Etown finally, and then got a helmet cam and made this video. Tell your friend, who is a good rider, that the step-up is actually pretty easy, and very forgiving. During this video, it was a little sketchy because there was a good 20-30mph side wind.
i dont even have a mx but i want to buy one, and i have a question (probably a stupid one for u guys) what gear should u be on in the turns when ur going in this speed? 1st?
@phaserCS You really never hit 1st gear on a mx track. Tight turns you take in 2nd gear, fast corners in 3rd gear. If your sprockets are set up for long gears, that make be different.
arianabak@yeah i looked all that crap up too and yes for all of that but u need a jersey and rental is 100 bucks plus the class itself

You have yellow number plates do you ride B class?
KawiRacer10 6 months ago
@KawiRacer10
I had the graphics kit custom made by limiteddecal(dot)com
The plates are just for show. I haven't raced an AMA event with this bike yet.

@CaseyC1231 Hey about how to hit jumps its all about just going out to a track and getting a feel for them. Everyone has a different style of riding.

i have the same situation as you. i was riding when i was 5 years old then i stopped at 7 then i recently about a year ago started riding again.

@CaseyC1231
For a 150r, the jumps are pretty big. You'll have to be going fast on that bike to hit the stepup, but the back to back tables aren't that large.

nice riding a little tip is to use your clutch a little in the turns to scream your bike and youll have more power coming out since its a 2stroke
