I'm from Germany and I thought it was somehow sweet, because obviously she was trying to avoid the whole Nazi subject. It's just something that other countries connect with Germany, and I'm glad she tried not to burst out some paroles. You'll have to keep in mind that our language can sound pretty edgy and angry to others, so I somehow had compassion for her. She was simply trying not to insult anybody.

But I always thought forming perfect queues was a british thing, not a german one :D

LoL I'm Canadian, and I find how other people do our accent hilarious and with good heartedness. I don't hate. I find it in all good fun. I honestly don't think we sound like that, but obviously they hear it so they exaggerate on it so we know what it is they're hearing. Haven't you ever heard a TRUE CANADIAN CANADIAN accent? @wattafuq think of the way Bonjour is pronounced though Ellen said it in the French accent...if you were to say it in the American way it would sound like "Bon" like Bon Jovi and "jour" instead of the French way where they pronounce the "O" in Bon the same way you would pronounce the first "O" in "Boston" <--- this varies anyway depending on if you are from New York, Boston compared to how everyone else would pronounce it.
