That isn't why we have a hunting season either . Maybe in the east and south , but not the west where the problem wolves are . Our herds of deer and elk are at an all time low . Eat your tacos and leave big game management alone dude .

I've spent a lot of time in unit 54 and in the Owyhee region, and have seen similar deer messed up just like yours overnight- the work of coyotes. Any chance that's what got yours? In that region, yotes would make more sense, no?
