It was not a computer hee said, GTX 280 is a nvidia grathics card and intel i7.

atm i use GTX480 x2 and this games play like wonder.

Nvidia are the best for grathics cards you can get a GT 9600 for £70-100 and it's awesome.

not really their selling point is using their technology to battle in packs, pick off enemies, stealth, agility hit and run guerilla tactics while fighting from afar with rifles and such.

Tau suits are also really different then tactical dreadnought armour. It's like wanting to use swords to improve M16's. Adding a bayonet is the best you'll get.

Terminator armour is usable only by super-humans, giving it huge size and enhanching the wielders already impresive strenght, and made of a material stronger then any avaible to the tau empire.

And don't you tell me a pulse rifle beats a bolter. Never they do.

Actually the standard pattern assault cannon is eqaul if not more powerfull then a burst cannon so they dont need tau tech shit. Imperial and Tau Technology is different, but the one isn't better then the other. THe only races with true superior tech are the Eldar and Necs.

I'd like to see Tau side with the Imperium and Eldar. After 1,000's years of war and 10's of millions of lives lost, surely they can all wake up and smell the burning flesh? If they sided... It'd be all over.

They probably did borrow from the eariler creative works. The film ALIEN 1 is even 1979, which is plenty of time for Warhammer 40k to borrow from that. I think most things borrow from what came before. People often think (particularly young people!) that an idea is new, but often it came out in another form before (ie Lord of the Rings books.... and World of warcraft... etc etc)

Most of what makes Starcraft great is a perfect balance, and that is hard to mimic...

Someone told me that Games Workshop actually helped Blizzard in developing StarCraft and WarCraft (and the styles are really similar-big shoulder armors, greenskin orcs (the first Greenskins appear in Warhammer), Space Marines, zerg/tyranids etc.

yes it does make some nice improvements inspired by the tabletop game like bolter + tank = nothing but the tabletop could have massive battles with hundreds of models a side.i like tactics but i also like micromangement on an epic scale.

I guess i see what you mean but, typically when a game requires base building, it also requires(to win online) that you steamroll too lol. Apocalypse games are my favorites to with the massive amounts of models. I usually play 1000 point battles and i guess this reminds me of them.

the reson that there are only 4 empires to choose from is because the story is based around them. you cant have only 4 empires in story mode and have other empires in skirmish mode it would not make any scenes. but paches are come out for other races to play in this game
