  • i thought this was more early 90s club song (early to mid 90s... I vividly remember this song and most of my clubbing occurred from 90-95/96)

Either way, I'm glad you shared it-brings back a lot of memories... from the memories I actually remember, that is!

  • Um Member when there was that show on like

Showtime about this huge pothead dealer and his

raver friends? Mem-member when they were dancing and

chilling and stuff. On one of the first episodes, they like totally

    played this song.

"And that's just okay with me."

  • This reminds me of Peter Murphy a little bit. A nice and unexpected find!

  • Never seen this before...

  • WIR= Where Is Robert? At least, that's what they said. Whatever, this is a genius tune.

  • WIRE sounds comercial here ... but very good too, I love it. Much class !

  • Wir is not German, silly. They're English.

  • Wir is Wire minus Robert Gotobed.

  • Oh , i wondered about that ! ..thanks dougie in austin ....

  • OK when I saw this vid back in the 90's I went gay for Wir for just a second. I quickly flipped the dial to ESPN to get it out of my system. :)

    Thanks for posting!!

  • I totally understand the feeling. Don't mistake this type of admiration as a gay tendency though. As men I think we are always looking for male role models to learn from and model ourselves after, and with that comes a strong attraction to those we strive to be like. Leo Tolstoy explains this brotherly love best in a lot of his short works.

  • And I would like to be Graham LEWIS.
