I totally understand the feeling. Don't mistake this type of admiration as a gay tendency though. As men I think we are always looking for male role models to learn from and model ourselves after, and with that comes a strong attraction to those we strive to be like. Leo Tolstoy explains this brotherly love best in a lot of his short works.
i thought this was more early 90s club song (early to mid 90s... I vividly remember this song and most of my clubbing occurred from 90-95/96)
Either way, I'm glad you shared it-brings back a lot of memories... from the memories I actually remember, that is!

Um Member when there was that show on like
Showtime about this huge pothead dealer and his
raver friends? Mem-member when they were dancing and
chilling and stuff. On one of the first episodes, they like totally
played this song.
"And that's just okay with me."

This reminds me of Peter Murphy a little bit. A nice and unexpected find!

WIR= Where Is Robert? At least, that's what they said. Whatever, this is a genius tune.

OK when I saw this vid back in the 90's I went gay for Wir for just a second. I quickly flipped the dial to ESPN to get it out of my system. :)
