Had to post one more here before retiring for the evening. UF would have been in this game had their lack of experience not been evident. If there is a rematch, keep faith Florida fans for they will take the Tuscalosers on a neutral field. The Tide Shits are not that good and very lucky to have played their typical weak ass schedule. The PAC-10 would whip their butts and Nick Saban could go suck himself off.

Thing is, as a Gator fan, I actually felt pretty good about that game. The reason? Young as that defense is, it held Ingram and Richardson to 100 rushing yards COMBINED. The bad? We got little to no pass rush on the QB. No blitzing and there aren't any real pass rush specialists on the starting front four. And Florida's inability to punch the ball in the endzone with four downs on multiple occasions is also sickening. We move the ball up and down on Bama to fall short. Addazio is no Dan Mullen.

@HardcoreGator They didn't have to rush too much since the Gators gave Bama the ball in or near your red zone 4 different times. Add the yards from the interceptions and kick returns and you will have a better idea of the total yardage surrendered.

@Mikevdog Believe me, I know. Looked up the drives for every series in the game. I wasn't taking into account the spec teams and INTs. On the 80 yd drive, 20 came from florida penalties and 30 from one Richardson run that could've been neutralized if the defensive end would've contained. Similar results were the case for a 60 yd drive, where the RBs were all but irrelevant. Did the defense play great for Florida? No. But they played much better than the scoreboard showed. Offense is the issue.

I'm as big of a tide fan as one can be, however the ignorant, obnoxious folks annoy me even when they say that they are too. We stayed at Fairfield in Bessemer for weekend, so did lots of gator fans. They were (ALL) very nice, polite and respectful people whom it was a pleasure to have met. Glad we won the game but one day we will lose again too. Hopefully not this season or the next or the next but one day we will like it or not then the trash you spit out will be right back in your mouth.
