i heard this 6 years ago. managed to find it in a pub jukebox in grays. never been ever been ever to find it till now................. wow still as great as i remember

@festerstallan I think I too heard it six years ago... I would not have known that date but for the fact that I found a diary from that year in which I had written down Dmitri Shostakovich ~ The Assault on Beautiful Gorky from 'The Unforgettable Year 1919' Op.89... and then nothing for six years... finding it again has been wonderful, I can hardly stop playing it... it carries me through hours and days and moves me so much more than most music ever does. It fascinates me.

Already checked all the main sheet music stores in London. The British Library doesn't have it. I've emailed the Shostakovich Society - hopefully they can help me

Anyone know where on earth I can get the piano music? Can't locate it anywhere

@Eztoez it should be impossible to find on the internet. maybe from a sheet music shop
