When I was 5, the doctor removed one exactly like that...and it grew into two...so he removed them...and five came back...then fifteen. Finally, my entire heel was plastered with them and so he used a special half-spoon scalpel and removed all the flesh from my heel. I still can't walk properly and my feet are covered with scars. Plantar warts, if cut into, can spread like a wildfire. 43 years later and my foot still has no flesh on the bottom of it. It's like walking on bone.
