You're right!! Keith's INSANITY on drums was amazing, and Pete's relationship with him showed on stage.

This was the same with Jimi and Mitch. They were best buddies on and off stage.

So in that respect, even though Mitch's drumming would have been a perfect match, The chemistry between him and Pete just wouldn't be there.

Neverunderstood why Mitchell was recruited to the Who after Moon died. They had a similar style....a lot of chaos just barely under control. Would have been a natural fit.

It's been so long...but the slight bitter of blotter, anyway...was probably "Everclear" or a combination of fixing agents or the taste of the paper, itself...as LSD is completely tasteless

Jimi (murdered) Noel-Chas- Jimi's father Al, then Mitch. Funny how it turns out.

I truly believe he was. His manager was a bastard, he had dealings with the Mafia and other wonky people. People who studied his post mortem said an incredible amount of wine flowed out his lungs and stomach, and it was impossible to do it to himself.

It's by the by now- I just love him for who he was (Jimi) and marvel at what he achieved.

And I think it's very sad that the whole Experience is now gone. Videos make me think they're the same for ever, but they're not :/

Well truth is neither of us know - but we can appreciate him and his music, and writing - which I think is always seriously under rated, I especially love the lyrics to "Bold as Love".

I had a chance to see him at his last performance, but I got into a car crash, and couldn't get a ride to the show. Truly the biggest mistake of my life.

Mitch: I may not have met you in this world, but we'll meet you in the next one. I won't be late. Same for you, Jimi.

But let's look on the bright side; Jimi finally got his drummer back, and now they're jamming just as crazy as they did in the 60s.
