I too agree "The USA sucks" comment was totally rude and uncalled for; not Canadian at all.  BUT, that said what "global embarassement" are you talking about ! I loved that we won gold in hockey and more gold medals than any other country. I was proud of our athletes and never felt more patriotic !!!!

If you've ever been to ANY sports event, you will have witnessed opposing fans saying "you suck!" to one another. This sports event happened to be the Olympic Winter Games against our biggest, most hated hockey rival.

Stop taking yourself so seriously. It's a sports event. She's drunk. Oversensitive, pretentious individuals like yourself make us Canadians look bad.
