@junandeo12345 yes but it was better that way most of their wepens were based on history but now many wepens were changed and meng hou was supose to be a fast ass guy based on history accounts but they changed him to a muscular guy which kinda is lame they change too much things and i dont think zhou yu looks handsome at all in the game they made sun ce look sexy and cao pi looks handsome and they made diao chan prettier but in real history whips were only used by shaolin monks or abusive parent

@MrSuperSaiyan1000 ok both are great games but dw5 you can play every1's story (musou mode) and theres no swimming, but i like combat mode better: it is based on weapon (how many strikes and combos you can hit and its coming to dw7), dw6 u play select characters story mode and you can swim and horse can jump, combat is non stop and there aren't any combos: so primarily it depends on what u like best game function or story

Dw5 musuo is the weakest musuo ever and has barely any story and the battles are high repetetive. I played Zhou Yu you basically also played Sun Ce and taishi Ci's musuo mode.

Game function is also way better saying all you do is press square is ignorant when there are many options including the fact that most of the time people spam the 2nd string to much

The original DW6 on PS3 and Xbox 360 had more generic styles in it. DW6 Empires and DW6 on PS2 fixed this by giving Ma Chao, Yue Ying, Zhang He, Ling Tong, Taishi Ci, and Cao Pi all new weapons (Zhang He and Taishi Ci getting their old weapons back)

What the hell....? Is it just me or did they drastically change a lot of the characters weapon and appearance-wise? And since when did they think it was a good idea to take away Cao Ren's buckler blade...? This is really weird. Also, what's with the anime hair. Not to say that Dynasty Warriors was super-realistic but all this seems out of place.

i hate how the people look so dammn abstract. like seriously dong zhuo, WTf? w weapons suck, and only 5 girls? last game had 9! and plus yue ying and sun shang xiang are the same, and diao chan and zhen ji are the same. zhen was a badass with the flute. :( DW5 was the best of all time, no if ands or buts, dw 4 and dw3 come close behind.

@xjonfer12494x You know, I have to agree. They all have similar movesets (only their AoE attacks are diff.) I was so disappointed. In DW5/SM4 they were all different. But I guess they worked too hard on the main characters and the graphics instead. And the CLOTHINGS!! OMG Dress like Zhen Ji or Diao Chan at that era and I SWEAR you'll get stoned to death! Oh, don't forget there's a blond Ma Chao! They're totally revamping this game's image. The disappmnt leaves when playing but I'm still sad!!

this vid is wrong,becouse ive finishied and unlocked all charcters and turn them to lvl 50 and ma choa in mine has a huge sword called storm breaker,yue ying in mine is a swords woman and wepon is called jade cresent,zhang he is supose to have claws called pheonix talons,cao pi's stance isnt like yuan shoa and he has his own stance,taishi ci his wepon is supose to be dual swords,and lastly my favorite character ling tong his wepon is supose to be num chulks not SPEARS! yours may be fake.

@markustheguy1 The one you got is most likely Dynasty warriors 6 for the PS2. That one came out later as a special release with some characters getting new/old weapons and decloned movesets. The one swillo is showing is the PS3 version which is the original. I know this comment is old btw.

@GrayFoxShadow777 Sun Jian wasn't ruined, he is much better in 6 than he was in the older installments. Same with Zhao Yun (though he should have a more asian armor-set.) Cao Pi, Zhang He, Taschi Ci (however you spell it), and Ling Tong (why the hell did they give him a halberd in the first place?) aren't ruined anymore. (as of Special and up).
