Axl fronts a covers band, and makes his fans wait decades for a album and always comes on stage late for gigs if at all, thats not Rock n Roll. He's a good singer but he pisses on his fans. Iron maiden on the other hand are still relevant making great music playing killer shows (december 17th 2006 newcastle and leeds fest 2005!) and respect their fans. Axl's just a pathetic washed up insecure man fronting a lame covers band.

Robin nails every fucking solo, Richard is a great guitarist with perfect clear solo's, Frank Ferrer is the best drummer yet, and Dizzy Ft. Pittman is the greatest duo. Tommy is a better bass player than Duff was and Axl sings better than ever, when ChiDem comes out, they will kick the old band's ass

I don't know if it was already mentioned, but the transcription is not perfect. In fact, one of the most important things is misheard by the transcriber! Axl says (about Maiden): "they are nice guys" not "they are not guys" ... Ok, the tapes skips a bit there, but it's an important difference!

Well one thing u ahve to understand is that maiden never did things for money. They couldve become punk to get a record deal in the 70s. They didnt. They couldve become commercial in the 90 when their music wasnt popular. They didnt. And they are stil playin the music that they like. And that is metal. Unlike some bands.

When he was asked if playing songs like "The Number of The Beast" bothered him, he replied with a no, and stated that the song was actually a WARNING to people about Satanism. If you listen to the lyrics of the song, it's about a person who gets caught up in a satanic ritual. Doesn't sound like endorsement to me.

None of the other tunes on there have anything to do with the devil - they deal with subjects like the Norman invasion of England in 1066, gang violence, the plight of American Indians in the 19th century, etc. So, the album as a whole stands for devil worship? Axl has a complete understanding of music, considering he is right about Maiden and their political issues.
