I've always wanted to try this game out. I could rarely find a neo geo 64 cabinet stateside, but when i did, i found they only had the samurai spirits/showdown game. I've always wanted to check this out because at the time there weren't any MMA games. Cool that you got the PCB. It seems like a fairly deep game if you got into it.
Very interesting and "obscure" system, watching videos of atomiswave 2d fighters i imagine one metal slug for this hardware using tons of simultaneous sprites, and amazing routines, maybe the new polygon era, destroyed hyper neo geo sixty four before born.... the psx conversion of this game, maybe was planned to develop, but only a few titles passed to the 32bit sony system, lacking more graphic capabilties and adding gorgeous CGI FMV stuff. Hyper NG64 for home users, maybe an utopia. o_O
somehow I quite like the look of this game, when 3d fighters came out they were trying something different weren't they. At the time all those animations in 3d really looked futuristic. I have never found a fighter that has controls I really like. Joystick combos really do my nut in, they have zero intuitive value IMO. Prefer just slugging it out with one punch and one kick. Never had a problem with Double Dragon! Seagal was interviewed by Justin Lee Collins recently!
I think this looks pretty damn impressive to be honest with you, considering the time in which it was released. I think if you put a lot of effort into getting to understand the title's complex gameplay systems it would be excellent after a while. Reminds me very much of the similarly paced Virtua Fighter series.
Thanks for upload this because i never could see a Buriki One in movement. I know now that I don't like this game... SNK never had to do 3D games and they had to use HNG64 for make really good 2D games ( HNG64 is a beast in hardware ) But they took the wrong way.

What a bizzare control set up,i much prefer 2d fighters as well, these early 3d fighters were pretty shoddy.
