One of my favorite Zappa songs. I saw Zappa Plays Zappa and they played an instrumental version of this song and i was so happy, I would have never expected to hear this one!
George Duke, Jean Luc and Frank goin' round the horn with three smokin' solo's, Awesome drums and bass. Too bad all the radio stations ever bothered to play was Dinah-Moe-Humm...
Ralph Humphrey Ralph Humphrey Ralp Humphrey Ralph Humphrey Ralph Humphrey i just might have something to saaants in my pants 3 incredible / rough / beautiful solos but please, just listen to the drums and try and play them, Ralph is THE MOST UNIQUE DRUMMER ON THIS PLANET rickyl;ancelottiri cxky la nce ricktyui ll ancelo rittii icky lllanccelolo ralfph humpphhrey i just might have something to say
Thanks for sharing this great piece. I particularly enjoy the solo by Jean-Luc Ponty. The entire piece reminds me of the Beatles 'solo' piece, "The End."
my uncle got me into zappa when i was 12 my dad said it was a phase . im 44 and my son is 16 now and his middle name is zappa , this phase of my life will carry on to the afterlife. zappa was his own man and opened my eyes to all the corporate bullshit . look at the state of us now , thanks so much fz
@archietidy i remember acquiring Freak Out, I think on Verve records. It was a jazz label. Nobody else would have 'im. Nobody wants good music. They want Justin Beiber. *sigh*

what scales on guitar solo?

Zappa is far better than a lot of other artists and yet he's not famous enough, what a shame.

This proves that the guitar's sole purpose is to be played by Zappa....that intro in so godly.
