  • First time I saw this, I cried hysterically!!!!!

  • I really prefer the version he did for the Aspen Comedy special.. number 2 I think. Same basic script, better timing :)

  • It don't get no better.

  • I remember another set he did, a little longer than this. I need to find it. He was talking about "my wife, Sana-Lana Lu". Anyone know if there's a clip of that one anywhere????

  • One of my favorites! Thanks for posting this!

  • I saw this guy live last week in Berkeley. Dude's amazing.

  • I didn't like it. It wasn't close enough to the real movies he's supposed to be mocking. Anybody could do this bit.

  • Thanks for this. It's been forever.

  • Don Reed is awesome if u don't know now u .Right now he is doing a play call east 14th in Berkeley ca at the marsh playhouse. fp6558

  • Yo, this is the absolute BEST. This is why Don Reed will always be the man! I concur with jodecidieon. It was Robert Towsend who open the door with Hollywood Shuffle and the Partners in Crime comedy series. That's how the Wayans got on the map.

  • WoW....I remember watching this on HBO eons ago...thanks for posting this....I always wondered who was the comic....This is awesome!!!

  • Who remembers seeing Don Reed as Mitchell, a friend of Theo (Malcolm Jamal Warner) on an episode of "The Cosby Show" doing this very same act?

  • @MrJP75 great episode...I just watched it on TVLand which is what made me find this clip

  • @MrJP75 Yes I remember him on that episode. Too funny! this skit is hilarious.

  • Wow this is awesome!!

  • this was the joint! I was doin this like everyday in grade school!

  • Great find my friend. People forget that Robert Townsend help out alot of Black Comedians during the 80's. Before Def Jam and Living Color there was Robert Townsend and his partner in crimes.

  • Yeah, my buddies and I used to watch this video back in.... what... '87? It was hilarious. Every time I'd do a "kung fu" imitation, I'd do this bit. I had it on VHS once, but that's long gone. I was so happy to find this vid again.
