  • i have same car but i can't do same record

can any one please tell me how to do it????

  • @SOOOSSAAA esp off, IF you can get some mods, try a cam, headers, intake, exhaust, predator tune, use race fuel mix c16, semi slick tires, bigger throttle body if you dont have money for too many upgrades simply take off some weight, with that you'll beat his times.

  • i beat that i got 0-100 in 3.54 seconds

  • @TheBillabongboy15 don't tell....show us!

  • @TheBillabongboy15 post a vid or shut up.

  • @TheBillabongboy15 sure you did, loser.

  • Actually these cars are built in chryslers canadian plant, and they use kilometers not miles. That plant builds the 300's , chargers and challengers.

  • @craighuddy And you silly kids arguing about the speedo...

If the car is going to be sold in a market where they use MPH, the speedo would be in MPH. If it's going to a market that uses the metric system, the speedo would be in KM/H. Being built in Canada does not mean the speedo will always be in KM/h.... logic people..............

  • @teedot no ,the quote referenced was "the place that builds cars like this uses miles" . The place that builds these cars uses km/h not mph.Obiously they have different instrument panels based on where the product will be sold. It has nothing at all to do with where they "build cars like this". That was my point.

  • and the place that actually builds cars like this uses miles..

  • @aberry9475 They're built in Canada. Which uses metric.

  • cant 4,76 secs its 5 secs

  • Long live the V8 engine...

  • That's a cool feature, the 0-100 time on your personal settings menu!

  • i counted about 12 seconds from 0 - 100 MPH

  • @ElQueefo then go back to school dumb fuck because you cant count

  • @WildBlitzDeath yes i can dumbfuck i graduated 2008 and in college from the moment i heard the acceleration i started counting 1-1000, 2-1000, 3-1000 and so on, and 100 MPH is 160 KPH, so fuck you my friend :-)

  • @WildBlitzDeath and by the way, Dumbfuck, he was timing 0 - 100 KPH not MPH u fucking moron

  • Yes it is true check it with a timer and u'll find it correct

  • im picking my 300c srt8 from the train station soon i cant wait its such a nice and ridiculously fast car!!!!

  • @isaacps3freakman yeah alot of boy racers in their jap imports look at the 300cs and think....oh look at this big heavy peice of shit....then all they see is the dust when you plant it lolol. Alot of guys have a WTF look on their face when they see my silver knight galloping away from them. Would be alot worse if I had a SRT8, those things are beast.

  • @ohnoes300c silver knight? are you gay?

  • @adutton428 lol, no. My 300c is silver and its Big and Chunky like a tank hence the Silver Knight. My car cost me 70k back in 2007 and Im so happy I didnt buy a jap import. I was about to spend 30k on a S15 back then, so happy I didnt. At my age you appreciate cars in a whole different light. When I was young I was into Fast cornering cars, on the street theres no point for that. On the street you want cruisey, comfortable and Torque. Now I know why older guys love V8s.

  • @ohnoes300c I just want a vehicle that runs decent at this point. I drive a Ford Ranger with 175k miles on it and it broke down two days ago. I am reduced to riding my bike 11 miles to town. 22 miles round trip. I call my truck "The Unreliable Shit Stain" XD

  • @adutton428 lololol. I love trucks but they rip us off so bad here in Aus. For the new GT500 Mustang 2011 they want 48k in US. Here in Australia they cost 150-180k. I love the F150 but the asking price is ridiculous.

  • automatic transmission loool you suck

  • I see what you did there with the title you sly dog you ;}

  • @highlineR32 you have no idea what your talking about! That's all I need to say. LOL

  • Wow, I'm a Mopar guy and I never knew these cars came with an actual timer! That is fuckin awesome

  • @highlineR32 Why.... are.... You..... TYPING LIKE THIS?!

AND FYI YES this car can hit that mark around 5s.

  • @highlineR32 You're not quite accurate. It hits 100 kmh at the 7 second mark, consistent with an almost 5 second 0-60 time.

  • @highlineR32 look at the speedo it is in kmh not mph lol your not very observant(:

  • @highlineR32

he starts at 2.5 sec and hits 100 at around 7.5 for approx 5 sec. I believe 4.76 to be accurate. I have a 2010 SHO with a mild tune and do 0-100kph in 4.8 seconds and in real life I am head to head with SRT8. Why does so many people take the time to critic before looking closely...

  • @highlineR32 Wow look at the couch/cheetos driving expert here... lol

  • @highlineR32 You're an idiot. 425HP and 0-60 in 6 seconds? HA, dream on retard

  • @highlineR32 Do you know what SRT8 stands for? Do you realize it has 6.1L 428hp engine? Around 6 seconds? Are you fucking stupid? Even hemi is faster than 6 seconds. how old are you? you seem to have no clue about cars or engines.

  • @Psyched yahr my 5.7 Hemi does it in about 5.7 and that was with a full tank and all my tools and shit in the boot + my 100kg fat arse in the drivers seat lol. RS Ford Focus chased me one time to a set of lights to try drag me off. Lights went green and I was gone before I hit second gear lolol. Thought those things were supposed to be quick. Even my friends RZ Twin Turbo Supra with only CAI cant take me from a dig although I only start pulling away halfway through second.

  • @highlineR32 100km is 60mph ? y cant it be real i bet u got a ford pinto with a whole bunch of upgrades

  • Is this stuck srt

  • It is 0 to 200 KPH!!!

  • @dobypaw

    No sht sherlock?

  • amazing car !!!!

  • @theguythatcould

85% of the world has banged your mother. Are you aware of this??

  • to quiet!

  • mods?

  • @8747800 you realize that at 85% of the world use the metric system, right?

  • @theguythatcould hahaha dude my lil bro wrote that shit lol sorry lol :D

  • @theguythatcould but ill tell him that lol

  • @8747800 no problem, have a good one

  • Comment removed

  • @theguythatcould More ;)

  • @theguythatcould 85% of the world is 15% as important as the other 15%

  • @theguythatcould yessir the metric system is the standard unit measure for everything and it goes worldwide, us in the US we use miles but the standard was decided by some scientists that put themselves together in France.

  • @theguythatcould Good for the 85% thank god we we dont.

  • @vector150 metric system is much clearer...

  • ya fuckin idiots its been said before, the timer is going off the speed sensor not the fucking speedometer. no need to extrapolate anything, since the timer is 100% accurate.

  • Do Chrysler 300c 3,5 Liter has this time tachometer from 0-100?

    I can't find it myself :(

Or I have to install an additional program for this option?

  • @NITROURAN \No only the SRT8 comes with this feature

  • @MrTheking911 rt charger come with this too

  • omg guys look at nasonguy's comment. speedos are not accurate, computers are as the timer is one.

  • 4,76s 0-90kmh lol

  • timer cut off at 90km/h. Extrapolating (has nothing to do w/putting your hand in your shorts), this gives approx. 5.1 sec 0-60.

  • The timer stops at 90 km/h.

  • that's '08 M5 0-60 territory right there. GJ!

  • people are saying that the car doesnt time until it move, just because rpms move doesnt mean the cars moving, it takes some power to get the car to move

  • It's impossible to get 4.7 sec on factory tires, I own a 09 model and the best 0-60 time i got is 5.3 sec because tires keep spinning

  • @Ma7ayaa Just becuase you haven't been able to do it doesn't make it impossible. Maybe he has better tires, a better road surface, and most probably making more power.

  • @electricshockproof yeah i know that thats why I said it's impossible to get 4.7 sec with fatory tires, next month i will replace the tires with better grip ones.

  • Strange that - you started to move at 2s on the video, but your timer did not start until after that at 3.2s, so you can't rely on the inaccurate timer you have. START =2s and FINISH =9s, so that is 9-2=7seconds for 0-100KMH. It's all there on YOUR video. The error in your video of 1.2s or more needs fixing!

  • supercharged?? 0:04

  • wat year is the car a 2005 or a 2006 or 2007

  • Now we all know that wasn't the muffler we all heard. That was the engien.

  • My 01 Stratus R/T is 0-60 in 4.5sec... down a hill with a 30mph launch. lol jk. Its 0-60 in something like 7.7

  • my did it in 4.8 =(

  • not terribly impressive... I did 4.4 seconds in my jeep srt8 ;\

  • @thundergod989 thats BS

  • @kkage2 Not really, with a 100 shot of nos and a good predator tune... 4.4/4.5 consistently with the onboard.

  • @thundergod989 100 shot? i would imagine you also have a couple other mods too then, i would consider your SUV far from stock... who the fuck mods an SUV...

  • @kkage2 nope, predator, 94 octane and a 100 shot and it does 12.7 in the 1/4 mile (actual 1/4 mile, not onboard) and 4.4/4.5 0-60 with the stock runflats.

  • @thundergod989 The 300c SRT8 does not ship with runflats. But, the stock tires do stink (RS-As. The runflats are RS-A EMT).

Favorable conditions makes 12.7 seconds possible stock. 50F outside temps at sea level do a LOT for the engine., a light bit of powerbraking (you have to know the limit, the car will pull timing very quickly) and using autostick mode with the firmware upgrade will get you into the high 12.7/low 12.8s. The final trick is rpeventing heatsoak. Dont idle in line, etc.

  • mine made it so far best time 4.84 t/c off and only mods are cold air intake and mopar exhaust

  • Hi i have an srt8 0-100 in 5.08 thats the best but i wanna know what did u do to the car to get 4.76

  • @calibersaif999 launch it down a hill? lol

  • Was this done with esp on or off or half off??

  • I don't know about you but the fact that the car will time your 0-100 km/h speed sort of makes me think your insurance company hates Chrysler lol :) I think it's cool IMO.

  • It's a slushbox...

  • stopped the timer? clearly you losers below saying "he" stopped the timer have never driven an SRT8 before.

All timing calculations are made off the wheels sensor, not the speedo! And you as the driver have no way of actually stopping the timer.

If only your honda civics could do a sub 5 seconds 0-60 standard....

  • @dmansourm3 i dont know of any civics (not a honda fan) but, i CAN tell you of an Eclipse that runs high 6's............... IN THE 1/4 MILE!!!!

  • if you stop at 7 sec its reading 97kms and the timer is 4.76 still under 5 seconds. what mods does this srt have

  • @mrpolojunkie...he didnt if u look he takes off in 3 and a bit seconds and reachs 100 at 8....do the math thats just under 5 seconds

  • he stop the timer lierrrrr

  • @MrPoloJunkie Chrysler, like all car manufactures, puts a hydraulic (oil) buffer in the speedo and tachometer. Test it yourself, brake you car very hard (if it can.) You will see you are stopped before your spedo bottoms out. On powerful cars like the 300/magnum/charger SRT8, you can easily be going 5 or more MPH faster than the speedo shows. This buffer is there because without it, the tachometer and speedo will bounce and jitter from RPM and sensor variations.

  • @BadHaddy wow...that is a interesting point, but are you sure they don't keep up while going up and just slow down on the way down?

  • @theraf8100 Yeah, the buffer causes a delta smoothing effect vs all change. I own a 300C SRT8 and a Mustang. Both of them show this effect on acceleration and deceleration. I got a speeding ticket because of it actually, showing off and launching the SRT8 from a light. Well, I was the reason for the ticket, but the slow gauge is what led me to think i was doing 55, not 63.

  • not bone stock

  • 4.76 Sec 0-100?? I did not see this

  • Neither did I - he stopped the timer at 90, not 100. It started moving at 2s and reached 100 at 8s, so that is 6s in total if you subtract 2 from 8. Quite simple really to work this out. Why lie and say it is 4.76s? We can ALL see it clearly isn't as you claimed.

  • @urbex2007 you're not very smart.. hedoesn't control the timer, the timer is built into the car and runs of the sensors and gets the EXACT speed. you saying you don't see it hit that speed is because the speedo is not fast enough to reach the mark that the car is actually doing. Digital speedo's are basically exact, but the stick ones and you with a timer will never get your exact 0-60. Unless you're in a slow car. Iff you're in a decently fastcar, you will always be faster then ur eyes can see.

  • hahahahahahah con la mia bugatti lo brucio sia sulla ripresa che sulla velocita hahahahahahah with my bugatti burn the recovery that is on the speed

  • so easy !!!

  • nice!!

  • the time stop counting at 91km/h NOT 100

  • Speedo doesnt keep up, fairly normal.

  • speedo's are never accurate... The timer is going off of the actual speed sensor, not the speedometer.

  • Good point, but the speedometer UNDER reads the road speed, so if he stopped it at 90kmh then his 476s was a 0-80khm speed timing. So whichever way you look at it, he has lied and his video is false!

  • @nasonguy That is correct, but show me a car in which a speedometer starts climbing BEFORE the car has even moved! I know some do due to faults, but this car doesn't have a fault apart from the sensor is not registering correctly, so giving a false timing as shown clearly on the video. 0-100KMH = 7seconds.

  • @urbex2007 no, 0-60 mph = 0-100 here, = 4.8 good try that is factory timed the sensor is not messed up, time it yourself and it is not 7 seconds tard

  • @colbyrules8 no actually 100kmph is 62mph, so itd be lower

  • the fastest i clocked was 1 sec when i put my foot forward ahead of my other foot.

  • well try that in mph lol...

  • 100 kmh is something like 62 mph so this thing does 0-60mph in about 4.5 seconds so, it is actually a very decent time.

  • @jgs115

    هع

  • @jgs115

open ur damn eyes man its already on the electric board

    its 4.76 sec

  • @Clio18701 We have already established the timer has a fault as it doesn't start timing until AFTER the car has started to move. The time is taken from the time the car started to move which is when the speedometer started to move. It took around 1.5s to get the timer to start up after the car was moving. Evidence in the video - watch it.

  • @urbex2007 nooo shit

now the time is not 4.76 ??

is it 4.76+1.5=6.26 this is tooo damn much how is that maybe u mean

    it take 0.5 not 1.5 i donno ??

  • @jgs115 calaboca cara

  • @jgs115 very decent? that's god awful fast for this car....dry weight is 4260 lbs.!

  • 4.7 is pretty damn fast! The fastest I've got mine to do is 4.8, and all I got done is a Mopar cold air and Diablo programmer. So put some real mods on and see it really go!

  • Try it in a slope and you will get a better time ;)

  • How comes this one does not spin the wheels in the strat, from 0 to about 80 km/h? I tested Dodge Charger SRT8 6.1 HEMI few weeks ago, it's on stock size of rear tires but in 1st and 2nd gears, when I floored it the rear wheels started spining thoug I did NOT turn of the EPS or TC systems.

  • was it manual?

and the 300c is alot heavier btw

  • No, the Charger is automatic and VERY powerful.

  • well it shouldnt spin first and second with esp on then... no way in hell unless it was up a hill or wet or it wasnt stock, the srt chargers have the exast same hemi as the srt the 6.1 and they dont lite up that bad of take off

  • They let traction slip a little bit, and usually only one wheel spins when it does

  • can anyone tell me if that timer is in the Turbo Diesel Models?

  • only on srt's i think

  • I have my car. It's a 300c turbo diesel. And yea it has the timer . Works well

  • Comment removed

  • i totally want that in my car to tell me my exact 0 to anything thats sick

  • got to love the srt

  • by the way what mods u got mate and did was this attempt with esp off?

  • i never knew i could do that in my srt hahahahah thanks for this video!

    i was shocked lol

  • What the fuck are you talking about? 1. This is in KM/H not MPH, so 200 is only 120MPH. 2. This is an SRT8 model, which means a shitton of power. a 4.76 0-60 time is perfectly feasable, and normal.

  • srt8isgr8

  • agreed

  • hey budyd how did u get the 0 to 60 display to come up . mine only shows temp

  • The two inside bottom buttons on the steering wheel, hold them both down for a few seconds and your hidden screen will come up.

  • And the ESB button works like this,(1) push it once for a little fun, (2)or hold it down for about eight seconds and you'll hear a chime, (3)and for a little more fun, when driving, at 5 or 10mph, take your key and turn it as if your trying to crank it, and all the lights in the car will dime for a qiuck second, and you'll hear another chime, this time your ESB is fully turned off, until you turn off your car again.

  • Yeah I have an 2006 300 SRT8 and I have raced many people since getting it especially BMWs and no one can mess with me. And my car is stock when most of these piece of junk with nitro and all this other crap that they put in it suck. And it is funny because they look at my car and think its an old persons car or heavy tank but it moves and puts these origami looking car jokes back in their place. LONG LIVE THE SRTs. Oh did I forget to mention the HEMI.

  • keep the car in D (although some people prefer 1 in autostick, I think D works best). Hold the brake, and gently increase RPMs. The tires won't break loose because of the torque converter. If they do start to spin, RPMs are too high. With RPMs raised, let off the brake and press the throttle down as much as possible without spinning, then slowly work it to wide open throttle when you can do so without spinning. It takes a lot of practice to get it right, and to get the right RPMs.

  • Idoniu82, do you have the RSAs or the F1s for tires? With the F1s, try getting RPMs up before launching just enough so you don't spin on launch, with ESP off (2nd off setting, hold button for 7 seconds). With a perfect launch you should be able to get as good as 4.4 seconds (this is how people are getting 12.8-12.9 stock 1/4 mile times).

  • 0-60 IN under 5 seconds, thats FUCKIN FAST no honda no shitbox will touch this srt8 300

  • damn right a honda shit box will never come close

  • This Is "Fast" & All But I Believe 87% Of Street Racers With Hondas Could Eat This ALIVE, So You Fail You Probably Own A Slow Ass Toyota Driving It In For The Cash For Clunkers Deal To Lease A New Rav4 -_-

  • A Honda with nitrous won't even come close. You'd have to spend a fortune to get a Honda into the 12s (which this car will do stock).

  • why can't we be friends?

  • Its 0 To 100 KPH. Wow. Lame.

  • how is that lame?

  • AKA 0-60MPH. You fail.

  • lool..

im not american but like how can u say 'americans and their stupid comments' i fink they can comment it as much as they want.. its an american car..

  • Thanks...but it's built in CANADA

  • hahahahaha who saw the km/h and then the little mph it did like 120 or 140

  • wats ur point? it never said mph...200 kph is pretty fast idiot, thats twice the speed limit....stupid american

  • Americans and their STUPID comments.

You do realize that most of the world uses the metric system now right? You're behind. You're slow.

  • do u realize your a fucking tool?

  • No sorry I think I missed that part.

Of course the TEXAN says that :)

Pull out your gun and shoot me.

  • cool dude where are you from. im going to guess England and cool smiley face u fucking fagget.

  • You should consider getting a mental evaluation. It's a shame people like you are allowed to roam the Earth freely. TEXAN ;p

  • 1 i dont live in texas, 2 ur probably like 30 talking shit over youtube. awesome bro

  • for crying out loud, how many people are going to make the same comment about the speedo not showing 100kmh when the timer stops? It's already been explained 100 times that there is speedo lag and the needle can't keep up with the real speed. Search "car driver srt8 review" in google, they got 4.7 0-60 time. Many people have gotten even quicker times.

  • is that stock?

  • they have recorded the Cherokee SRT8 doing 0-60 in 4.7 or 4.8 seconds stock.

  • the hemi's are good engines...

automatic tranny is fucking garbage should be a manual available on these babies

  • Manual seems inappropriate for the 300C, coz it's big. For the other SRTs, manual trans is perfect!

  • How is this tranny garbage? Those shifts are incredibly fast and smooth.

  • lol. my buddy had a charger r/t and in the winter the tranny was really shity..

and stick shift is way more fun to drive

  • The R/T has a different tranny than the SRT8. Besides, the stick is only fun to drive when driving it hard. Sticks are a pain in the ass when driving in traffic, around town, pretty much everywhere other than the highway and long country roads where you don't have to stop and slow down.

  • err...the auto tranny for the 5.7 or 6.1 is the same 5 speed auto.

  • SRT8 is a 6 speed I belive.
