Im now 24 years old 200 lbs and work out faithfully and im healthier than ever. I've never counted a calorie....

You know what man I am with you I am tired of being Fat so I decided to use a BMI calculator and figure out the amount of calories that it takes to be 190 lbs it was 1883 calories I found an application called My fitness Coach its free on Android and iPhone I set the calorie amount and it has a bar code scanner I want you to know one thing man. 5 days 12 lbs dropped like nothing happened. I love it I will be 190 I started at 293 lbs and I am at 281 lbs and counting down. Do it if you want it.

man about losing the WEIGHT, I use to weigh 300 lbs and my secret for starting to lose that weight was by just wiggling my feet around when I was sitting, and by doing that you get the blood flowing to parts of the body that you normally never moved. You can even do it by lifting your arms up over your head when your sitting, you have to think about how much one of your arms weigh. What 40-50 lbs?
Nothing is instant. You can do it. Just be patient and the weight will come off. I lost a large amount of weight just by diet change. Biggest thing was to cut salt.

@Aggiesgigem I think it's in reference to attempting to lose weight. there's a point at which you can't drop below a certain amount or it will be detrimental to your health. I think there's a lower limit, so it's not a blanket rule

You know, I stumbled onto this video by some kind chance and despite your self deprecating comments about you being a narcissist or whatever; underneath that is someone whose finally gotten sick and tired of being sick and tired. I suggest you get some therapy to help you deal with emotions and feelings because from what I've gathered, you use food as a way of processing feelings. Happy, sad, angry, celebration, mourning: its all a different reason to eat. Dieting is great, but get some therapy
Don't bother with those snacks. Sure they may be low calorie, but that's how they pull you in. It could be loaded with Carbs which is the last thing you want in your weight loss diet. Instead, load up on fruits. Fresh fruits are one of the best things to munch on with the lowest calories and are loaded with nutrients. Diet can only take you so far. Exercise and consistency is the key. I would recommend 15 mins. of cardio that will get your heart rate at around 60/80%. Increase 5 mins every week.

I'm doing kinda' the same thing, but the opposite. I'm REALLY skinny, so I need to start eating more. Instead of just doing stuff all day, I'm gonna need to take a break, and just eat something, many times a day.
During the summer, I can usually go about my day only eating twice, or even once, since there's "SO MUCH FREEDOM OMG" during summer, and I just want to do stuff, not eat.
I went from 350lbs to 280 a few years ago (I'm 6'4) and it felt amazing. But after very painfully destroying my knee and after surgery, I've slowly climbed back up to 320. Hey Boogie, I know you get a lot of unwanted advice most likely, but one of the main things I've noticed is the gym can be quite daunting for someone who isn't lifting weights. The best thing is to cook your own meals. In the US there are a lot of prepacked and processed foods to make life easier. Go for natural things with simple ingredients and with your new efforts to lose weight (exercise like walking regularly) you will find it's almost magic. Much easier to burn simple foods than complex.
@Asahiko2 the P90X eating habit is based around eating smaller meals whenever you're hungry. It's just gotta be the right things. protein, veggies, etc. carbs are terrible for you though, excluding like nature fats, like in milk.

A few weeks ago I cleaned out my house of anything bad, started exercising and resisting the temptation of food and I've lost weight already and am feeling better each day. Water is a major compenent of nearly EVERY metabolic function in your body, it not only cleanses out excess chemicals such as nitrogen, sodium, ect. but curbs feelings of hunger and fatigue. When fully hydrated you are up to 18% stronger, water is key in absorbing nutrients, such as amino's, creatine, ect. to build lean muscle.

If you drink alot of water you feel a lot less hungrier. Try demoing a bottle of water before a meal and during the meal drink another one. Trust me I tried it and it works very well.

Don't bother with those snacks. Sure they may be low calorie, but that's how they pull you in. It could be loaded with Carbs which is the last thing you want in your weight loss diet. Instead, load up on fruits. Fresh fruits are one of the best things to munch on with the lowest calories and are loaded with nutrients. Diet can only take you so far. Exercise and consistency is the key. I would recommend 15 mins. of cardio that will get your heart rate at around 60/80%. Increase 5 mins every week.

I'm doing kinda' the same thing, but the opposite. I'm REALLY skinny, so I need to start eating more. Instead of just doing stuff all day, I'm gonna need to take a break, and just eat something, many times a day.
During the summer, I can usually go about my day only eating twice, or even once, since there's "SO MUCH FREEDOM OMG" during summer, and I just want to do stuff, not eat.

I went from 350lbs to 280 a few years ago (I'm 6'4) and it felt amazing. But after very painfully destroying my knee and after surgery, I've slowly climbed back up to 320. Hey Boogie, I know you get a lot of unwanted advice most likely, but one of the main things I've noticed is the gym can be quite daunting for someone who isn't lifting weights. The best thing is to cook your own meals. In the US there are a lot of prepacked and processed foods to make life easier. Go for natural things with simple ingredients and with your new efforts to lose weight (exercise like walking regularly) you will find it's almost magic. Much easier to burn simple foods than complex.

Few tips:
Cut sugar. Normal Cola -> Light Cola.
Try to leave candy, chocolate and sweets all together or at least keep them to an absolute minimum.
Try to exercise. Do anything, because everything burns calories. And remember - there is only about 10% difference in calorie burn when you run a mile or walk it. Try to do a lot of walking around.
Try to reduce your carbohydrate intake and increase protein. Chips -> lean meat jerky as snacks go.

A few weeks ago I cleaned out my house of anything bad, started exercising and resisting the temptation of food and I've lost weight already and am feeling better each day. I started loosing weight in February and I've already dropped 50 lbs. Just aim for 1 to 2 lbs a week weight loss with a healthy diet and at least 30 minutes of exercise a day and it should come off. Good luck!
