@dieselboy3004 yeah i agree 100%. This really reminds me of the mid-80's when all the previous 3 years of great experimental electronic pop had just become watered down by so many wannabe copy-bands. As for cheese, it's definitely of the squeezable and spreadable variety! And it makes my ears Hurts that's for sure.

they so fucking blow me away, i cant put it into words.. i have been waiting for something like this since at least two bloody decades! finally some people who get it and DO it! todays successful music is lacking honesty, chills, emotions, anything you can imagine... this is totally 80s based, at least by the looks, charme and style.. but they do it in a very modern and recent way. im amazed ... and hurt i have to miss their concert today because its sold out.

Not that D:Ream and Halo James don't have a few similarities, mind you, or that they set a low bar...I'm just glad that amidst great success from La Roux, Empire Of The Sun and the glittery side of retro, we have (in my opinion) inheritors for Tears For Fears' legacy. It's been a long time coming.

I shouldn't waste my time, but it really matters not that there is an 80s revival, and has been one for a while now. Hurts are unique, and even if they wore Klingon armour and butterfly masks to stand out, their music would still be brilliant.

i really think leaving it this long is a tactic because they have had so much time to hone the music. They just want to keep us begging for more and then hit us with singles, albums and tours so just be patience.
