  • That's why this is my favorite game of all time!

  • Holy Fuck, Obi Wan is in zelda comercial!

  • @mememejst I thought it was Sahasrahla.

  • damn subways, they got to fix the lights.

  • ... HOLY SHIT!

  • Anyone else ever see the version with an actual Princess Zelda calling out for help?

  • Damn the commercials for the six generation and past generations of games were awesome

  • Schizophrenia. That what this reminds me of

  • don't do drugs lol

  • Can somebody tell me how to save my progress in this game?

  • This was probably one of the few Zelda commercials that didn't make me laugh so hard that I'd cry. Still, I really like it!

  • Do I smell fear!... rated E for everyone. LOL

  • god i hope the commercial for the OoT remake is like this...

  • that commercial is creepy

  • And I thought the subways were bad with the lights on.

  • The Japanese one is cool

  • That would make an awsome movie. but not a a zelda movie. i didnt rlly see what that other thing was, i dont remember that second monster thing

  • @Dinobot2468 i think it was a cyclops, the one that you first meet in the dark realm they throw bombs

  • I remember this commercial....It was the first time I had a hard on....no joke....it was that important

  • When the description said subway I thought of the fast food place IDK why lol

  • this is good but the jap snes one is the best ever

  • wow it gandalf

  • its like a horror movie at 0:07

  • its sahashrala

  • Whats Gandalf from lord of the ring and to Power Rangers like monsters doing on the train. are they on theyr way to a costume party or someting?

  • this is so cool!!!

  • LOL is he the same guy in the spirit tracks commercial? xDDD

  • either america REALLY likes zelda and subways or someone likes filming things on subways.

  • I could have sworn this one ended with someone saying, "Next stop, Hyrule", just like the Spirit Tracks one.

  • "Things in the light, are not the same in the dark." <<-- Greatest. Line. EVER!

  • OMG is gandalf! So this is where he came after Lord of the Rings . . .. . . .

  • Did anyone else notice the new spirit tracks commercial is kind of a remake of this one?

  • Somehow I noticed.

    Glad someone else does...

  • yeah i noticed

  • @Garlog64 my first thought as well. although spirit tracks looks better

  • This kid is trippin' hard lol

  • lol the old man is halarious!!!

  • OMG i love this game on GBA its even better than the SNES version......well at least i think so.

  • Thw Japanese Super Famicom commercial to this game was way better with it's silly oldschool rap.

  • Got this game for Xmas few years ago

  • I remember this commercial; very nostalgic. Thanks for posting :D

  • this is my most favorite zelda games and the best lttp commercial(my thought)

  • you even notice that many of the zelda commercials almost always have nothing to do with the actual game?

  • its better that way, although this one at least references the Light World/Dark World system

  • @seamoretwillnant are you saying this one had nothing to do with lttp?

the old dude was Sahasrahla and the armored guy was the first mini boss, in hyrule castle the ball and chain soldier guarding zelda.

    =/

  • @seamoretwillnant it does so, this one is a link to the past (you go to a dark world and light world) and in the dark world monsters appear...usually tough scary ones! Plus the old man is famous in the zelda universe I just forget who he is. Lastly, it is showing us that this is gonna be epic and you need to get it! (plus since if you don't find the pearl you are stuck as a rabbit in the dark world which means you have to run just like the kid).

  • @seamoretwillnant this one does, it showcases the Dark/Light World mechanic and features Darknut or something.

  • @Curttehmurt Or something...

  • @seamoretwillnant regardless this ad is pretty awesome, The old guy's lines really stick in my head

  • To:anagornlegolasgimly

No...Zelda said that on The Wind Waker commerial not this one. -_-

  • WOAAAAAH. I remember seeing this as a kid o.o

But maybe I saw a different version of it, because I remember Zelda being in it too; she was holding onto her dress with one nervous fist, if i remember correctly, in this dark and misty place swamp?? Anyone else remember that?

lol. This commercial totally enchanted me as a kid, but bugged me at the same time because the boy did not look at all like Link. ;p

  • Was that the one where the wizard was laughing? If so, then I remember it.

  • I remaber that to! She was the narrator right?

  • I remmeber her being in it too... but I've never found it. Then again, haven't looked for it in awhile...

  • this commercial made me WANT to buy the game for the GBA. i beat it in like 2-3 months but it's still one of the toughest games EVER. but it's also one of the greatest game sagas.

  • My favorite commercial ever!

  • WB. Did you see the other one? With the old dude laughing?

  • bah, i remember old SNES commercials. the SNES version is better because it doesnt have the lame voices in it.

  • @deftoned You think that makes you so much cooler than the rest of us since you were there when the original first came out? You're such a hipster dude. There is almost no difference between the SNES version and the GBA version, so stop making it seem as if the ones who have only played the GBA version have missed out on something great. By the way, I've played a bit of the SNES version, so I know what I'm talking about.

  • I REMEMBER THIS! Seems like yesterday.

  • I know! =D It was my christmas present that year too.

  • And holy shit, I commented on this 10 months ago! And I was thinking about this recently, too. Seems like only a few months ago!
