These are veterans of the italian Alpini, the mountain tropps of the north-east Alps. They have a century-long tradition of wonderful and very deep songs. They never use instruments.
"Signore delle cime" ("Lord of the peaks") is a prayer for a "friend" (a fellow Alpino) who died in the mountains.
