Aang is kinda like a cross between Superman and Captain America if you think about it. Superman because he's the most powerful person on the planet and last of his kind(Airbender and Kryptonian respectively) and Cap because he was frozen and is a little out of the loop in terms of modern times(Well modern for Aang anyway)
