The truth is that the official animations we're better, sure they we're disappointing but still it was better. Not saying that the animations here we're bad, they just didn't feel like a anime out from a manga.

And when he had set off to train to surpass Jiraya , Pain arrived in the village and started slaughtering everyone. Pain, a basically expressionless CORPSE, howers over the villiage like a deity and blows it to oblivion. Naruto comes home and sees the carnage and fight Pain.
You've also done a much better job on 6 tailed Naruto them the animators of the anime. Something was seriously wrong with them to make the end result look like that.

This is very VERY good! much better then what I can do (for now mwahahah*cough*) what I do HAVE to say is though, you should improve some BASIC animation techniques, instead of tring to run before you can walk (Even though you pull advanced thing like effects or stuff off really well.) It is a bit jumpy at times. I have one tip for you: If somthing looks jumpy, press f5 to extend the frame the jump is in, and make that extended frame into- SHIT NO MORE CHARACTERS ILL POST A REPLY TO THIS COMMENT
@Th4Pwnz0r make the extended frame into two and on the second frame, make everything on that frame go halfway between the previous frame and the next frame (onion skin helps alot, really). This smoothens it out A LOT.

@Potidaon The animation IS important, yes. But isnt the story the most important part? The whole point was that Naruto went straight to the 6th tail cus Pain stabbed Hinata. You understand the concept with Narutos tails yes? That was the most epic emotional moment in the show perhaps. And it completely disappeared between the manga and the anime for some reason. And Pain`s line : "Do u hate me?" With his speech in mind, i understood why he said that. And seeing narutos 6th tails made it epic.

It doesnt matter who the show is meant for. What matters is the fact that people like it . Naruto is the most popular manga/anime in the world. Bleach is second, One piece is third so on. But let me ask u, what about these shows is it that fans like? Even outside anime. Harry potter, lord of the rings and matrix so on. Is it the animation people like or the STORY?
@thetechinfo1 It's funny, I use colors from the anime but they did come out bright in this one. I think it's because I didnt use gradient effect which gives a darker touch.

@smyton4tw I'll reiterate by saying this is decent for something fan made, and probably done sparsely over time.
Some people have an irrational bias against 167. People are too invested in and being way too upset over a show for young adolescents. But the episode was a ton of fun, coming from someone who doesn't like the series anymore.
And yeah, fans can be too kind to each other, though. Criticism does hurt sometimes, but it's fine if it gives an idea of how one can improve.
@Potidaon Yea I agree. Don't worry, as long as the critic isn't "lol this sucks" then I listen to it and use it as a means to improve. It's nice to hear encouragement too so I'm happy to know my time and work put forth was appreciated but I don't let it go to my head. I still have a goal I haven't reached (which is to make episodes with animation and art like 166 and 167)
Too bad you're not into Naruto anymore but consider watching the brand new ones. I think it's picking up steam. Take care.

This is better than the original one. The animators animating the original anime absolutely destroyed Six Tailed Naruto vs Pain. You have done a fabulous job which far surpasses the anime animation for Six Tailed Naruto vs Pain.
Well done animation man! It may not compare to the OFFICIAL episode that came out (that be Naruto Shippuden 167 - Planetary Devastation) but its not bad at all. I can guess you based this on the manga. And seeing that this was uploaded like last year (the episode i just mentioned hadn't even been put in animation frames yet ! ) I'd say you did well enough to satisfy the people who couldnt wait to see that manga chapter animated. Kudos to you and evry1 who helped you make this.

@Potidaon Quick summary: I love the animation and the battle in itself. But i dont like it as the official episode cuz it has nothing to do with the story at all. Storywise, @smyton4tw version is better than the real deal. When they have no concideration to the story, awesome animation dont justify it. Was this reason rational enough?

@Potidaon When he said it in the anime after being HAMMERED into the damn groud, it just made him seem like a complete crazy idiot. They even messed up that bloody line!! And Pain should have died a shitload of times in the episode + it seems like he had a identity crisis. Looks like they watched Wile.E.Coyote and Tom and Jerry and got some ideas from there. After waiting for this moment for nearly 2 years, i was expecting something better than a really good looking Tom and Jerry fight.

@Potidaon The animation IS important, yes. But isnt the story the most important part? The whole point was that Naruto went straight to the 6th tail cus Pain stabbed Hinata. You understand the concept with Narutos tails yes? That was the most epic emotional moment in the show perhaps. And it completely disappeared between the manga and the anime for some reason. And Pain`s line : "Do u hate me?" With his speech in mind, i understood why he said that. And seeing narutos 6th tails made it epic.

It doesnt matter who the show is meant for. What matters is the fact that people like it . Naruto is the most popular manga/anime in the world. Bleach is second, One piece is third so on. But let me ask u, what about these shows is it that fans like? Even outside anime. Harry potter, lord of the rings and matrix so on. Is it the animation people like or the STORY?

@thetechinfo1 It's funny, I use colors from the anime but they did come out bright in this one. I think it's because I didnt use gradient effect which gives a darker touch.

@smyton4tw I'll reiterate by saying this is decent for something fan made, and probably done sparsely over time.
Some people have an irrational bias against 167. People are too invested in and being way too upset over a show for young adolescents. But the episode was a ton of fun, coming from someone who doesn't like the series anymore.
And yeah, fans can be too kind to each other, though. Criticism does hurt sometimes, but it's fine if it gives an idea of how one can improve.

@Potidaon Yea I agree. Don't worry, as long as the critic isn't "lol this sucks" then I listen to it and use it as a means to improve. It's nice to hear encouragement too so I'm happy to know my time and work put forth was appreciated but I don't let it go to my head. I still have a goal I haven't reached (which is to make episodes with animation and art like 166 and 167)
Too bad you're not into Naruto anymore but consider watching the brand new ones. I think it's picking up steam. Take care.

episode 167 SUCKED!!! and pain were out of character!!! the final 7 min was EPIC! everything before was garbage. listen, watch "naruto manga 437 espanol full color hd" at the final 2-3 mins and i dare u to come here and say that the episode was good again! quality of the animation aint all that matters!

@soldier4670 AND this one is true to the STORY! lets see, shy hinata shows almost unmatched courage and confesses her love and ( apparantly)gets killed. naruto snaps and goes straight to the 6th tail. HOLY FUCKING CRAPo.O in the middle of the leaf village no less where everyone he tries to protect is a bit too close for comfort.... somehow they decided it was a exellent moment to start with looney toons stunts-_________-

This is better than the original one. The animators animating the original anime absolutely destroyed Six Tailed Naruto vs Pain. You have done a fabulous job which far surpasses the anime animation for Six Tailed Naruto vs Pain.

@kid123ro In Photoshop, go to render-> fibers. Makes sure the 2 colors are black and red. Thats all I did :D

Well done animation man! It may not compare to the OFFICIAL episode that came out (that be Naruto Shippuden 167 - Planetary Devastation) but its not bad at all. I can guess you based this on the manga. And seeing that this was uploaded like last year (the episode i just mentioned hadn't even been put in animation frames yet ! ) I'd say you did well enough to satisfy the people who couldnt wait to see that manga chapter animated. Kudos to you and evry1 who helped you make this.
