Brawl has no L-canceling, JC shines, Wavedashes, momentum, or anything else that makes these combos work.

@xAesirGOD Some how I thought that would be the answer. I slightly urged when I saw IGN's review for Brawl where they gave nintendo credit for taking away wave dashing and "adding" air dodging. Adding air dodging? More like ruining air dodging.

tripping and awkward dash frames prevent dash dancing and approaching

airdodge prevents wavedash (and other advanced techniques that result from that)

lack of momentum prevents a lot of stuff and is just stupid.

Lack of hitstun limits/prevents combos.

Inability to JC shines prevents shine combos.

Fox and Falco's shine physics were changed to prevent combos and shinespikes (fox)

and I could go on for a long time...

@MrKingFunk he didn't cancel it, it was still the same dair. it hit three times and the last hit was so late, that the animation of his dair was already over, but the hitbox was still there. the third hit brought the animation back and then the dair was over, no canceling at all
