He has the same habit as me when I was in children's choir long time ago XD "Singing" entire song helps you get the timing down as well as helping with volume control.

That said there's probably multiple cameras for the concert and most likely there was 1 camera on each member. Because in the end, the concert broadcast has to edit them if there's a possibility it's going to be on a DVD.
