  • I forgive Joel..

  • "Everybody CHEEL!"

  • Bane was meant to be the epic symbol of destruction as in The Upcoming Film: THE DARK KNIGHT RISES! Not a side Kick to anyone...ESPECIALLY POISON IVY!!!

  • My rating of the film:

    Storyline: 1.5

    Acting: 1.5

    Effects: 6.0

    Costumes: 1.0

    Soundtrack/Score: 7.5

  • Bat Credit Card, Bat-nipples, and BAT-ASSES.

  • @AliceSonicGundamFan what's next the bat bomb- OH WAIT!

  • I will always remember the Batass...

  • Only good thing about this movie was the soundtrack

  • I LOVE this batman movie, all the others too, never seen the Dark Knight, not into the new ones really, it's the good old 90'os and 80'os I love ;)

  • 7 Million.

    *CACHING*

Never leave a cave without it.

  • @batfan38 how much do you like it?

  • @TheCommenter49 i like its so bad its laughable

  • @VagrantNoName batman did

  • i like this movie

  • What killed the dinosaurs!?

  • @VagrantNoName THE ICE AGE

  • This was the first Batman movie I saw in the theaters. I saw when I was 5 and I loved it because, well IT'S BATMAN! I was too young to notice the bad puns, the all the other problems people claimed it to have. I rewatched it recently and I'll admit it is definitely not the best movie around, but I don't hate it. This movie still has a place in my heart, especially the Uma Thurman parts, I'll admit it's stupid and campy, but I still accept it and I can't wait to get it on blu-ray with the rest.

  • one good thing i can say about this movie, if it wasn't for this, we wouldn't have gotten Batman Begins

  • I gotta say I like the logo, ever since I was 9 seeing it on a poster in a theater.

  • There's no worst in batman films!

  • Elliot Goldenthal's music is one of the only good thing on this movie.. excerpt Uma Thurman (she was great as Poison Ivy)

  • @DimbalaH

I think the whole movie was great :)

  • 4 people don't like the movie and we cannot dislike it.

  • that's why superman works alone

  • BANE!!

  • i always felt ashamed liking this theme since the movie suck like a 300 dollar hooker

  • I love the music and the movie! :)

  • @Spirit9193 uhh you liked the movie the music I can understand its awsome but the movie? you're kidding right

  • @3271westy Uh no I'm not kidding. I really do like it. I love all the Batman movies.

  • @Spirit9193 ok umm that is kinda wierd considering this is considerd to be the worst movie of all time but all well thats you're opinion

  • @3271westy And I understand that not everyone likes it, but most people do. But my #1 favorite Batman movie is Batman Forever

  • @Spirit9193 yeah I think your confused with Batman 1989 because I would say that only like 100 people in the world like Batman and Robin seriously JOEL HIMSELF APOLIGISED FOR THIS MOVIE BEING CREATED now you gotta admit if the directer of the movie apoligises for his own movie you know its gonna be really bad lol but Batman Forever its not bad but I like Batman 1989 the most best story best actors and best acting

  • @3271westy Well yeah I see your point, but I'm not confused, I just I have my own opinions of what movies I like and don't like. That's all.

  • @Spirit9193 huh ok everyone has a opinion and I ain't gonna be a jackass and say it sucks like most people would and by confused with Batman 1989 I mean that you said most people like it well its the complete oppisite most people hate Batman and Robin but most people like Batman 1989

  • @3271westy Uh well yeah, I know that.

  • i liked this film when i was like 11 and after rematching it now i still do i don't know why it gets so much hate

  • @Donkey0Madness I watched it over and over as a kid, it's bad I guess, but entertaining. I want Robin to be done properly one of these days though.

  • @Donkey0Madness watching*

  • 2:15

    Robin: I want a car.

    *Batman looks at Robin*

    Robin: Chicks dig the car.

Batman: This is why Superman works alone.

  • @Christianrocker1990 this is also why superman isn't directed by Joel Shumacher

  • @Christianrocker1990 This is why Christopher Nolan made Batman Begins

  • @Christianrocker1990 and Nostalgia Critic kills himself

  • @Christianrocker1990

ha love all those lines lol so funny

  • ...People, I liked this film. FUCK YOU AND YOU'RE OPINIONS ON THIS AND TRANSFORMERS. JUST BECAUSE IT'S NEW DON'T MEAN IT SUCKS!!!!!! FUCK YOU GUYS!

  • @sinbd WTF are you talking about; "Transformers" was a great movie. "Revenge of the Fallen" was a terrible movie :P

  • @grandpajoe6191 ...thnking back, revenge of the fallen wasn't that great of a movie but hey, it's a sequel what can you do?

  • Now all we got to do is wait and see who will break the ice with "Batman beyond "!!

  • Is it just me or this movie become a classic after Nostalgia Critic's review?

  • This is so late....but I just realized Robin's suit in this is very reminiscent of Nightwing's suit....

  • @ShinjiroX117 Yeah... I noticed after reading trivia somewhere. Probably IMDB

  • Alfred: can i perswade you both to take a Sandwich on your Jorney?

Batman and Robin: Will get Drive through.

  • to quote the Nostalgia Critic: "A BAT-CREDIT CARD??????"

  • @auvelier "YOU DARE RAPE MY CHILDHOOD!?"

  • 2:21 I WANNA CAR!

Thanks for being the last nail in the public's view of Robin, Chris O'Donnell.

  • @JohnMooreification Chicks dig the cars... this is why superman works alone

  • The movie may be crap but I got to give it a bit of credit cuz apart from batman forever this is the only batman film with robin actually fighting along side batman! Plus uma thurman as poison ivy......wow, just wow!

  • Am I the only one who actually likes this movie? It's ungodly stupid and the dialogue is bad, but I find it REALLY enjoyable. Guilty Pleasure, if you will. I know the problems with it, but I still like it.

  • @rurikredwolf I like it too. It's certainly not boring. And it knows it's over the top. I love Arnold's ice puns lol

  • @rurikredwolf I don't have a problem with that. It is a guilty pleasure. And Clooney tried, bless his heart.

  • @rurikredwolf Nope i do too, i prefer the comic book 1990s batman rather than the new ones i mean wtf has the batmobile taken steroids or smthn

  • @rurikredwolf no your not the only one, me and my Fiancee love it. The dialogue is effing terrible 90% of the time but i loved it. Arnie was not a great Mr Freeze but i love it just because its arnie and hearing him say stupid things in that accent is funny. Fair play he did actually have a few good line i loved "tonights forcast, a freeze is coming" since that was not so cheesy. His best scene is that and the end in Ivys cell, :D I bought the special editions off all the originals last year :D

  • @rurikredwolf I'm right there with ya.

  • @rurikredwolf

I love the film, I see no bad in it. When I see our movies now, they are good but some aren't the same anymore, I miss the 80'os and the 90'os. These movies really should be treasured.

  • Cool theme 

  • best batman theme, worst batman film.

  • @R8FXX well I think its better than batman begins in some ways...but if this movie had less stupid parts and more action and more seruis than it would been Gold

  • @R8FXX Better than Zimmers and Elfmans Batman Themes?

  • @The90slim90 They're all kinda equal.

  • @R8FXX nuff said

  • This is some fucking awesome music, but the movie is crap, wish it was Butorn that directed both Batman Forever and Batman og Robin

  • @SuperBatfreak Tim Burton somehow was involved in Batman Forever, as a producer.

  • @MADCastro2010 Yes, forever was close to be okay, but when burton left it just went downhill

  • Great stuff, love the film so much, amazing film, thanks

  • all these people saying its a shit movie are idiots just think for a second all the batman films ever made which ones were made for the soul purpose for kids??? well apart from the original with Adam west and this one. i think if your a 5 year old watching this its easier than watching the darker batman we have today just for the kids its an amazing movie but for adults its a laugh like the original was

  • @Hetfieldandhammett1 i agree man, its a fun movie that was made for light hearted entertainment, just like the adam west series. people today expect this to be art or something, and critics talk a lot of bullshit

  • How can such a BAD movie have such a GOOD theme?!

  • @Bisbeatle most bad movies have good music, like Jaws The Revenge

  • Say what you want about the movie, but you have to admit, the theme is pretty good. When I think Batman, I think of various musicial scores that go with him. One such score is THIS.

  • this is a fun movie, doesnt deserve hate, its entertaining thats the main thing

  • @warwick2155

I agree, it is fun , great movie :)

  • 2 hour toy commercial?

  • MR FREEZE FOR THE DARK KNIGHT RISING! >.<

  • @XWarfurionMokNathalX no its Bane

  • @LegoDudeClone101 i know im just saying lol i would like to see him in the end of dark knight rising as a teaser for part 4

  • @LegoDudeClone101 at the end of part 3 dark knight rising, they should do a teaser that mr freeze is next for the actual batman movie since the dark knight part of batman ends with part 3

  • The best thing about the film is definitely the soundtrack.

  • THIS IS THE BATMAN not todays fucking jokes

  • @Surebro0 You talking about the modern films with Christian Bale?

  • This movie wasn't so bad. It was even entertainning but it was a betrayal to the character and the dark side of the serie and was definetely poor compared to Nolan's and Burton's movies.

  • if thats actual audio from the composed score with all the cool inventive effects when their suiting up at the beginning thats AWSOME ! :) what a great composer u are Elliot Goldenthal ;)

  • I wish Joel Schumaker had never been chosen as the director for these two movies and that Tim Burton had kept on directing them for the original series. It sucks that only the first two had Michael Keaton.

  • @JLC31383 Don't wish that! If Schumacher never made these terrible films, Batman Begins probably wouldn't have been made!

  • @nerdtalk326 By the time "Batman Begins" was made- Michael Keaton would have been too old for the role and it would have been time for a reboot anyway. The only reboot that would not have been if things had happened differently is "The Amazing Spider-Man" only because Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire decided to pull out of doing "Spider-Man 4". I always wonder what a third Batman film would have been like if it was done like "Batman" and "Batman Returns"- a third one with the Riddler as the villain.

  • @JLC31383 L.O.L you wish!

  • @LOKBLUDOM3N Joel Schumaker ruined them and turned them into stupid cartoons. Michael Keaton was set to reprise his role for "Batman Forever"- but he was unhappy with the script because he could tell the third movie was not going to be done the same way as the first one and the second one. Schumaker told him it was being fixed so it could be something families would want to watch- and that made Keaton decide to walk off the set saying he was out of it. That made Val Kilmer into the next Batman.

  • @JLC31383 Don't give a shit, i like all Batman movies from the 80' to 90', Cartoon or not i still like them all.

  • @LOKBLUDOM3N Don't care if you do or not- I have not even watched any of the Batman films from the original series in almost a decade. I just know most people hate "Batman Forever" as well as "Batman & Robin" because they became real stupid unlike the first two which actually were dark and violent. I have heard there is a documentary on the DVD where Joel Schumaker ended up admitting the films he directed were horrible after the series was discontinued and he even apologized for their failure.

  • @JLC31383 I'm not 1 of those stupid fans of Batman, & come on dude it's a movie,it's about Fantasy. Don't you agree with man!?

  • @LOKBLUDOM3N I am not really a Batman fan either- but I have seen lots of his film adaptations for the last two decades. My whole point is that Tim Burton started a series that was dark and violent- then Joel Schumaker tried to continue it and only messed it up. I with they had allowed Burton to have directed the third film and Michael Keaton could have played him one last time. Then they could have turned it over to Schumaker and different actors could have started playing the Caped Crusader.

  • @JLC31383 wat u talking about u idiot? this is a movie of the old 60s tv show, THEY turned it into cartoons, but wait werent they comic books? There are so many different versions of Batman its good to have different variations of it. I like all the batman movies but I prefer tim burtons ones

  • @warwick2155 I am talking about a third Batman film for the original series bringing back the original director as well as the original actor. Since Tim Burton started off a storyline that was dark and violent- there should have been one more film where the Caped Crusader was played by Michael Keaton one last time in a world that was just like the first two movies. Since the producers decided to get a new director to continue it on- that messed it up so it was no longer what it started out as.

  • @JLC31383 keaten and burton refused to do another one. Joel created his own vision but he said it was more based on the 60s one that was mindless fun, that is what he aimed at with this which i think he delivered. some people are just so set in stone with the batman series they just cannot accept these movies, no matter how entertaining they are.

  • @warwick2155 No- Tim Burton was told by the producers he was being replaced with another director for the third film because they wanted the story to be family-oriented. However, he was allowed to work as a producer. As I have said before- Michael Keaton was going to reprise his role in "Batman Forever". He came to the studio and read the script- but he told Joel Schumaker he did not care for it because it was what kids would want to watch on a Saturday morning cartoon. Then that was it for him.

  • @warwick2155 I agree

  • A BAT CREDIT CARD!!!!!!!!

  • @YourProblem1

Like to find out what the interest rate is on that card

  • @clownprince88 Lol same xD

  • This was one of my childhood favourites and the game of this was fucking AMAZING

  • @TheGeordie4life I own the game and movie, do you still like them?

  • @onlyone23km havnt seen the film in ages and havnt played the game since the 90's haha but they amazed me when i was a child

  • "I want a car! Chicks dig the car!"

  • @RobotwarsKing this is why-- nah not gonna finish it...

  • @RobotwarsKing This is why the Superman works alone.

  • Such a great theme wasted on such a movie. Well, it still has a place in my heart because I grew up with it, but the theme is the best part :P

  • @Rhewin You may have a pint. Personally, I loved a lot of things in this film. Giant sets, cool costumes, upgraded vehicles, and even the music for this film was phenomenal!

  • @spacefruitlove and don't forget Chris O' Donnell as Robin...PENOMENAL, and so was everything else about him, from the gadgets, costume, and even his bike!

  • people people people we all agree that this movie was bullcrap:p but you fail to see the point it was obviously more comedy oriented then the other 2 or the 2 new ones hence the introduction of the one liner king into the movie as the main villain the matter is if its entertaining to watch its like jack-ass its stupid as hell but if you don't laugh at least once you must have some serious mental problems

    inb4 flamestorm

  • How much better do you think the movie would have been if they had Val Kilmer come back as Batman and had someone better playing Mr. Freeze instead of Arnold Schwarzenegger?

  • shit movie, good music.

  • The film sucked, but the score is pretty good...... too bad most of it was simply lifted from the score for Batman Forever. :/

  • This is my ringtone. All the Batman movies were great to me. They're my childhood.

    "Cool party!" lol

  • When i was little i watched this movie in theater i got scared when i saw Ice man freezing robin .

  • @gamer3386 "Ice man" ... /facepalm

i mean come on... "Ice man"? seriously?

  • @JohnnyD1337 i am from another country you fuck i don't know his ENG name and i am lazy to google it this is funny for me too hahahahaha ice cream man xD

  • @gamer3386 it would probably only take you like 10-15 secs? to realize its AH-NULD if you checked the comments bellow

  • @gamer3386 I got scared seeing Bane!

  • Crappy movie but WHO CARES!? It's my fucking childhood.

  • @whaowman then your childhood got raped...

  • @whaowman I watched it the other day, I thought it was still ok! It looked a pantomime but I love it still! Good memories

  • @sc6rp

Yeah, it's still fun to watch. Just because it's bad doesn't mean it can't entertain you.

    Also, it's kinda like 60's Batman :)

By the way, THE MUSIC KICKS ASS

  • @whaowman You're right, man! When I was little kid i loved that movie :D

  • Allow me to break the ICE!

  • It's a pretty good Batman theme. So heroic, it can be Superman theme too.

  • @Taktikusz I do not see how this theme song could be used in a movie about Superman- unless it was one that had him go completely dark where he wore a black uniform (instead of the traditional blue, red, and yellow suit) and he actually became violent with his style of fighting rather than showing mercy. I remember the filmmakers were planning to go that route when the unmade movie "Superman Lives" was going into production. The classic theme song by John Williams is the best that can be done.

  • They should've kept this for the new movies

  • @bajutsu As much as I love the score for these I have to disagree the new one have such a different tone this wouldn't fit.

  • Moyock, North Carolina is an odd little town I gotta say....

  • how they could possibly release this movie expecting any sort of acclaim! who is the target audience of this film? infants?

  • @SirWillig or ages Dead to 1.

  • @spacefruitlove Uma Thurman was very hot indeed and Arnold is Arnold, the one liner king. but if we dont take this movie too seriously, well it is not that bad I think it was it was meant to be cheesy

  • @spacefruitlove because it is the second best thing in the movie thats all. The thing is, batman forever was quite good but this one wasnt I dont know what happened between those two movies

  • I actually love watching this movie...but for all of the wrong reasons haha XD I just love watching it because its so bad, it's hilarious.

  • The movie was a pleage on the world but I like this song a lot. Whenever it played I got excited then I remembered what I was watching.

  • Say what you want about Batman Forever and B/R, but I liked both their scores. Sure, they don´t compare to Hans Zimmer's scores for BB and TDK, but they're still not that bad.

  • The movie is a comedy.

    Not to be taken seriously.

But, is that what Batman deserves?

    No.

    It's Warner's greedy ass's fault.

  • @patrickallen13 i agree, it was THEM who wanted to make batman campy again, it was THEM who decided batman shoulnt be violent, IT WAS THOSE BASTARDS WHO TOLD SCHUMAKER TO MAKE THIS FUCKING OIECE OF SHIT MORE CAMPY AND FOR LITTLE KIDS

  • @spiderlolo100 Yeah, all Joel could do was make the movie he was instructed to. I heard before he signed onto Forever, he wanted to do an adaptation of Batman: Year One, which is interesting to think how that wouldve turned out in a pre-Begins world....

  • why does everybody hate this movie???

  • @Mietalnerd People need something to bitch about. There are sequels that are a million times worse than this movie. Don't worry about it. Some of us don't feel the need to jump on bandwagons.

  • @Mietalnerd I wonder the same thing. Classic from back in the day.

Besides, I had a crush on Uma Thurman.. wait I still do. :/

  • @Mietalnerd Because it was campy as Hell.

  • @Mietalnerd Because it was a piece of shit movie. I could have made a better one, easily.

  • Chris O'Donnell had this to say about this movie . he quotes : "When I made Batman Forever, I felt like I was making a movie. When I made Batman & Robin, I felt like I was making a toy commercial". LMAO . .

when i watched it . i was like wow this one long ass toy commercial .

  • Oh YES! Finally I FOUND IT!!! I've been looking for this ALL DAY! NOW I CAN FINALLY MAKE IT A RINGTONE!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!

  • this is the batman I KNOW NOT THE DARK KNIGHT

  • As much as this did get slammed by the critics, I did spend a lot of time as a ten year old having tons of fun watching this movie.

  • 1:46-Tell me you don't say to yourself when that moment hits, "I AM VENGENCE, I AM THE KNIGHT, I AM BATMAN!"

  • Favourite Batman actors (live action) in order and why

    1. Keaton - Dark and intimidating

    2. Kilmer - Not as intimidating as Keaton but still pretty good

    3. West - Campy and funny

    4. Clooney - Bad but not annoying

    5. Bale - Annyoing as hell

  • @connorhall08 nice list but i would put bale above Clooney clooney was the shitest batman ive ever seen

  • @CharlesHolton True, but I put Bale at the bottom of the list bcause he constantly growled. If he didn't, Clooney would have been at the bottom. So in all honesty, I would rather have a shit Batman rather than an annoying Batman.

  • @connorhall08 even thow clooney almost destoryed batman with his part as batman to me batman is at

  • @connorhall08 even thow clooney almost destoryed batman with his part as batman to me batman is at his best when hes dark like the 1989 one whithc i agree witch i agree with you ok

  • @CharlesHolton True, maybe Clooney almost destroyed Batman, but really it was the material he was given. If the script felt like it was written by an actual screenwriter and not toddlers, he could have been good. I heard that the cancelled Batman Triumphant was going to be darker than both Forever/Robin. Triumphant should have taken Batman & Robin's place.

  • @connorhall08 well im all for a dark batman like the one from 1989 to me that makes good veiwing

  • @connorhall08 and as for Clooney for me he should never of been given the part of batman he is better at playing a rogue sort of character like he did in dusk till dawn and others

  • @CharlesHolton Yes, I agree with you on that one. He never really cared for Batman. But every role he took seriously,
