  • I want this video on my M420i/M760 unit.

  • Those flowers in the background look so fake.

  • I grew up ;listening to him all the time

  • I miss Paul...........................

  • Can't wait for news when with Paul Harvey when I get to heaven, it will be a good day

  • He takes otherwise boring stories and makes them interesting. Paul was unbelievabley taltented. RIP, Mr. Harvey.

  • pay money to see him read the phone book

  • Rest in peace Mr. Harvey.

  • I don't think there will ever be another guy that can speak the same way as this man he was a great person GOOD DAY

  • Dear Lord, I'm going to miss this man. It's too sad that now we know the rest of his story.

Now that he's in heaven, I wonder what he's going to report on up there?

  • Sorry, but "The Rest of the Story" was best on the radio only, where his words and inflections helped the mind's eye follow the story.

  • Then minimize the video....

    Your personal radio.

  • Thank you for posting this. What was the source? When was this recorded?

God Bless Paul's family. Good day.

  • Rest well, Mr. Harvey..No one could ever tell The Rest Of The Story like you, or ever will.

  • I used to listen to his news shows every day all three broadcasts when i was a kid. You will be deaply missed paul. :(

  • ''good Day" Paul

  • Paul Harvey will be missed

  • Wow...chilling. Until the end I thought this had happened at the end of the Vietnam war, for some reason.

To listen to the words and the delivery, I have to wonder whether Darren McGavin drew his muse from Paul Harvey when he played Carl Kolchak. It's pretty much dead on - next time there's a Night Stalker episode or movie, listen to the narrative. I think it's eerie.

There will never be another Paul Harvey or Darren McGavin.

  • My first exposure to Paul Harvey was as a kid in the late 1960's. There''ll never be another like him. RIP Paul and thanks for all you've done.

  • God Speed Sir....thanks for the stories. We will miss "the rest of the story" you could of brought us.

  • Good day Sir.

  • The greatest story teller of all time...Absolutely hypnotic to listen to. What a sad loss for us all....

  • Paul's death is VERY sad. I remember listening to him first as a kid in my Grandfather's car in the early 1980's, when I was only 5 years old. My Grandfather would always tell me to keep quiet and listen, it took me a while to understand why, now as an adult I go online to listen to his show every week. We'll miss "The Rest Of The Story", + "That Person Was" forever. I hope people continue to post these here on YouTube so we can go back + show our kids too! Paul Harvey, 1919-2009....Good Day!

  • Listening to him is like reading a great book in your mind. Felft like most of us grew up with him. I think he was a great part of American history.

  • Us military folks would listen to him on NPR overseas and turn up the volume to hear his many untold stories.

  • You have taught us much. You will be missed.

  • Good day, sir. You will be missed.

  • I have learned a lot from him. I will miss him until I see him over there. Rest easy Uncle Paul.

  • Ill miss ya buddy

  • Elvis,...John Wayne,....now Paul. No one to fill their shoes. I'm all tears.

    Good Day!!!!

  • his voice brings me back to my youth..as my father was listening to the radio..as i ran into the room..i was told to keep quiet..paul harvey's on.

and i think thats why i like guys like Glenn Beck..and the late, Bob Lassiter. they have the ability to make you listen.

  • I feel like I lost a good, old friend today. So I just want to say, "And now you know the REST of the story." Rest in peace. God's lucky to have you back.

  • Rest In Peace Mr. Harvey..

    Good Day !!!!!

  • I grew up with him on the radio, hard to believe he is gone. I'm gonna miss his stories.

  • Totally amazing Man. Cannot believe he is gone.

  • 90 years old...wow.

  • I know right. It is no wonder that I remember him all of my life.

  • Me to...I just turned 36...never new a world without Haul Harvey until now.

Anyway, GOD bless ya mam... and Paul Harvey.

  • They just announced that Paul Harvey had passed away today (28 February). RIP.
