This is an overrated game. I think those who love Terranigma played it when they were 7 or so, and they really believe/remember is good, but it isn't. Boring level design. At most 2 decent songs. There's no story, you just go from place to place and see what you find with no other aim than "resurrecting the word" just because. Mostly plain characters. There are some "philosophical" statements between the dialogs, just to make some pleople believe there's something deep inside this stupid game.

How were you able to play both CT and Terranigma in 1996? I'm assuming you live in europe where chrono trigger was never released and the only way to get Terranigma because it wasnt released in the US. How the hell did ya manage to play both those gems bro??

Yes, I do live in Europe. My brother bought an imported copy of Chrono Trigger from England back in the day and that's pretty much it.

Spectacular. One of the finest RPGs ever made, it was tragically overlooked because it was never released Stateside (one of the VERY few times I'm glad I live in Australia). This opening video really showed off what the SNES was capable of, even as people started to turn towards the Playstation and the Saturn for FMV movies.

Very good game - sadly I have sold the cartridge a long time ago.

Still prefer Chrono Trigger over this one, but it's an excellent game nonetheless. If you never played it, get an Emulator!!!

Yeah! I'm from Spain, finding the game here is not as difficult as in Australia or New Zealand, but it's not cheap anyway. The game came out here in Spanish, it was one of the few games that were translated so nowadays it is a "cult" game.

Well it is quite hard to find these days. I saw it going for about $80 NZD (which is quite a lot for a SNES games).

Err... The Spanish version costs about 70 euro, that would be about $130 NZD (according to Google). Complete in box, of course. The cartridge only could be at about 20 euro.

There are even more expensive games. A Spanish complete copy of Illusion of Time costs about 100 euro!

Getting these games nowadays is very difficult, and expensive :(

Usually, Terranigma is harder to find, because it came out so late in the SNESs lifespan. (Back in 1996,i paid 130 DM for it, some months ago i bought a new one for 20 €, german version)
