my parents live a few miles outside of americus. i was born in sumter regional so i was shocked when my parents told me the news of my hometown. i didnt get to come up to ga until the following May, but the damages were still apparent
yea!! i live in americus too. well used to i was at home at Hillside manor apartments when it happened. me and my child were sooooooo scared. we hid in the bathroom. i'll never forget it. it happened in the middle of american idol. i had just got off of work.
i stay in americus!!! but i was at the tech school when it hit. my parents were at home and were lucky not too much damage happened. they stay right off of lee st. but, the next morning i got about 20 of my friends together to go help people out. so, yeah...it was very interesting!

I actually really do live in americus. My Dad works at the hospital. I didn't know there was anything on Youtube about it. Thanks for all your help!
